    one suggestion...

sounds like you're trying to put together a nicer system...

one way to improve it a bit for what might be no additional cost since you're looking for an amp - get an amp that has an active crossover built in, it will sound better than using the passive crossovers that come with the speakers you're considering.

    for example...

    http://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-GM-D9...DKIKX0DER&s=car&ie=UTF8&qid=1282149929&sr=1-2

i purchased that amp using the 30% off coupon code found here on tw. i'll bue using it to drive my front components, and adding an amp for the subwoofer.

regarding opinions on sq of the speakers, i would suggest finding a auto sound forum where people have much more experience than most in this forum... most people here just think whatever they bought sounds great and have never really auditioned others in such a manner that is objective...

this is a great forum for that...

    http://www.diymobileaudio.com/forum/

but be forewarned... it can get overwhelming.... so many choices, opinions, etc.

    good luck!!
