Fuck mobtown. Him and his cronies are all douchebags. I made my own HC rear with @Skell

Check out his bumpers. Kore4x4.com I think is the website.

Probably the 4-6 month lead time while they're out at overland/wheeling events selling more stuff.

I wish their website was set up a little better. They do make some really nice stuff though. Hopefully they will get back to me about a couple of questions that I had. I will say that their pricing is better than others I have seen. Where are they located?

Thanks for the heads up. I will definitely check him out. I like to keep my business as local as possible. Where is this located? I'm assuming near philly.

Let me start by saying i'm not a fanboy of any brand, I just like quality people who do quality work.

So it's bad for them to promote their products and sell stuff? Do you think they don't deserve any time off to use the products they sell, or meet up with the off-road community?

I mean, it's a small group of people who are working their tails off to meet the demands of their products. what did they do to upset you or anyone in the community?

Recently @Mobtown Offroad just helped facilitate a number of sponsor prizes for @riot4wyatt 's charity event last weekend. They didn't really gain anything from that.....

Definitely could use some work on the website, or at least more photos! Also, Tony's location is about as opposite of Philly as you can get lol. Muncy PA from what I remember lol

I'm not saying it's bad to promote your brand. What I am saying is that what causes a lot of failed businesses: you need to keep the people that have already given you money happy, not just the people that might give you money. Developing a loyal following is actually much easier than chasing the next sell. Mobtown actually did me a huge solid that I'm still grateful for, but I'm not going to ignore current trends simply because of the past.

ADS for example: I had a broken split collar bolt on my front coilover. I emailed the guy who was helping me tune my ride height asking what size it was and he sent one out, that day, for free.

yeah for sure! he's done a lot of people a lot of solids including me.

Hopefully they have a business strategy to cut down on lead times, because that will eventually start to catch up with any company.

Also, I had a similar experience with customer service. My waterport had bad valves, and the company next day shipped some new ones after they saw my instagram story. Moves like that are the best lol

    @Skell is near williamsport, pa.

I've read about number of people who are pissed at them. The lead times are getting longer and longer. Customer service shittier and shittier. I just recently heard about an issue where a skid was shipped, box broken, mounting hardware package opened up and parts missing. Person contacted them. They replied with a picture of what's supposed to be included so that person can go buy their own.

I've met mr mobtown at an event. Tried to talk to him about his products and ask questions. He basically walked away mid convo.

They better change their business plan (which is something that's fluid, never stagnant. It should change with the times anyway...) or they will start losing many customers. More and more people are complaining.

Small group of people? For fucks sake, if you have this demand but are still running a skeleton crew, then you get what you deserve, including blowing up your engine while at an event in one foot of water. They're not quiet on social media. If I saw them out gallivanting, not making products, while not answering customer inquiries, I'd be pretty pissed. Thankfully I don't have any orders with them.

I've seen some blatant ripping off others designs from them as well. Someone I know made a fix to their front bumper, posted a picture somewhere on social media and boom... in a week that persons fix was applied to mobtown production bumpers. Granted there's only a few ways to skin a cat, but how about when you buy a product in order to measure it and make the same piece with a mobtown stamp? Fuck em.

Muncy is actually better for me. I wouldn't call it the opposite of Philly though. I am close to Erie, the opposite of Philly location wise in PA. Muncy is close to 80 though, and it is close to my sisters. I have a surprise birthday party there at the end of June. That would be a nice trip if I could leave with a bumper and CMC. @Skell is starting to look better and better for a bumper.

why are you so angry? Wishing ill will on someone because they (or someone on their team) post on social media while running a busy business is a bit much don't you think?

Any links to the stuff you said - Copied designs, Telling a customer to buy their own hardware, etc?

I know! I stopped and took photos quite often because it was a scenic drive. We're lucky to live in such a picturesque state!
