Yeah the one in her Honda is a lot smaller than the one in our trucks, O'Reilleys had an aftermarket one for $15 but we wanted to go with the Honda one to make sure it lasted a long time.

Somebody returned a roof top tent to Costco, must be an online only item.

I used it to pick up an inline 6/auto trans/tcase and load it onto the trailer without much pain

That's the weird part, it isn't. That peeling is the protective coating, you're supposed to rip it off the first time you use it. But it looks like they only ripped off a little bit of it before finding some reason to return it

Ahhhh ok. Looked like it was badly scratched. Wonder how much they are going to mark it down. Potential land cruiser item?

I inquired because I would much rather have a pop up tent like this then a fold-out for an SUV. but he said he couldn't tell me the price and that they don't sell returned items from the internet

My Costco sells all returns by the pallet to a store down the road from me. I’ve been there a few times, it’s 90% stuff from Costco that’s unopened, barely used, or just has packaging damage.

I call BS on that worker's response.

I came across a BlueAir HEPA Air Cleaner at a local costco. Happened to be a model higher than what they carry in the warehouse - so online order item. It was a return, no box just the cleaner and accessories. Everything still sealed in the shrinkbag just the cleaner was open, basically gave me the idea someone ordered it, didn't have room for it or didn't like the design and returned it. It was marked down 200 hundred bones off the internet price. I said I wanted to buy it and they tried to tell me they couldn't sell it (after discussing the price). After much argument, I walked out of there with the cleaner at the price they had it marked down to.

Our local costcos here sell all online returns as long as they are 're-sell condition'

I'd go back and check with a manager.
