Great. Time to start tucking in my t shirts and wearing moccasins.

 

Judging by the fact that the storm looks to be moving due east, I'm giving you the "all clear". South of you still sucks, though.

 

I’m starting to see blue skies, and it does seem to be moving due east.

 

I, amazingly, have no trouble regulating the temp in my smoker. I smoked it at 250º for 6 hours and dropped it down to 200º for the last 2.

 

I had a temp probe in the meat and one on the grill. Next time I'll try to keep the temp up higher (250) the first 3/4 of the time. I was pretty steady at 225 for most of the cook. What kind of smoker do you have?

Nah, I buy off the rack at Walmart. I don't trust those mail-order places to get my size right.

 

Sorry Y'all, 1,400 posts since I was in here last, ain't no chance of catching up. Got the scurvy from not enough citrus, aka not enough lime, aka not enough margaritas!

Was down all weekend, not even a singe beer. So bad I had to unplug. Actually came to work toward against my better judgement. The food smells at lunch almost did me in! Leaving shortly so I can go to bed!
