4Runner. If they didn’t have that, fml then.

Full size trucks are work trucks only, IMO. They haul great, they look miserable. The “body to wheel size” profile is unsightly. Looking at you, ford and Chevy. Y’all gross AF.

I traded my Sierra for my Tacoma because it was just too big. So, with that said, probably a 4Runner if I didn't have the Tacoma.

But, I do like the helicopter idea from an earlier post in this thread.

I'd rock one of those plain ass old man Nissan trucks. They're so ugly that a few scratches ain't gonna bother you.

If not for my Tacoma, I'd still be driving an Audi A3. Can't think of another compact truck that would have tempted me away from German cars.

I may be facing this dilema much sooner than I had anticipated.

I came from Jeep Wranglers to Tacoma lass than two months ago. I was lured by the sense of solidity and refinement during the test drive. I saw myself keeping the truck for a few years; I was high with hope.

But it seems the more I drive my Tacoma the less I like it. Driving it around town is fine. But its weaknesses rise to the top on the highway: lack of power; a recalcitrant transmission; a stiff/unresponsive throttle pedal, a smooth engine that screams the moment you demand some grunt from it; an uncomfortable driving position.

I am at loss what else to get. I don’t tow. But I’m not willing to go into a 4Runner as some Tacoma owners seem to take as the obvious escape route.

If I were pressed into getting something else right now, it would probably be a low-miles used Jeep Grand Cherokee V8. But I’m not rushing to go back to Jeep.

If yours is an auto, throw it in s5 and forget about it. You kinda have to train your brain on these new trucks.

If I was forced to buy a car, I’d just rock a line x’ed 510 Datsun.

That wouldn’t be “training my brain” as much as “dumbing down” LOL

I really wanted a Tundra but they just look dated to me, there do for an overhaul I think. I test drove them a lot and really liked them just the mileage was the biggest turn off for me and I have no need for a half ton.

I test drove the Pro4X Frontier as well, I liked the way it drove and handled, but I found the interior really brought the truck down. Real nice truck though, besides that.

I wish I look at F150’s when I was shopping but was pretty dead set on sticking with a Toyota, my 07 2nd Gen gave me no trouble whatsoever and I was very happy with it so I got another one. I’m so wish I went with a SB some days instead of the longbed again but I’m sure once I get it setup the way I like I won’t ever regret my choice again.
