Just gonna have to get a snow machine. Rabbit Ears was great on Monday! Rode over a creek and was wishing I had the Tenkara with me.

 

That was last year! I be surprised if some trails wont open this year due to snow pack!

I think youre right about that. Snow melt is only part of the problem. There will likely be some trail damage that they dont have the time or money to fix this year.

I am interested to see when red cone and more specifically handcart gulch open up. For comparison, we ran red cone in early July '16 and there was still few feet of snow at the top blocking handcart.

 

Looks like I will be replacing my front dif needle bearing here shortly with one from ECGS... would anyone happen so have a removal or install tool? Not a very special tool for them to charge over $40 each, so hoping I'll have some luck local.

 

I have one if you want to borrow it. I need to do mine one of these days just haven't gotten around to it yet.
