all of the whiney complainers about it transmission would love it. i totalled my R32 and the next step would be a Golf R, right?

that is the cheapest, crappiest steering and shifting you can buy. it's made for kids who play video games and expect their car to drive like that. if you tested a recent VW 6sp you will know about it.

So I bought an old Hurst shift knob for my car and couldn't find a shift handle that fit for a reasonable price. Bought a 1/4" thick steel plate and cut out my own shift handle, finished product feels pretty damn good.

No manual option. Looks like a 2jz swapped AE86 would be a cheaper more functional option.

Chuckle.... I do something similar with freshly hatched engineers at work. I hand them my HP calculator and the expressions while they search unsuccessfully for the = key are priceless. Long live Reverse Polish Notation! (yep, I'm a dinosaur . . . .)

Had a 16 GTI PP 6spd MT for 2 years, first car I owned in fifteen years. I liked the steering. Shifting was ok, better with bushings and a short shift kit.
Passed up on a low mileage R32 a friend bought new and was perfect, was hung up on the fact it was red.
Need to find a R32 before all the good ones are gone.
Not a fan of VW’s choice of 4 doors (or is that 5) only models for us, WTF!

I think they will eventually have a MT available, sometimes companies do that, At least I really hope so. A targa top would also be freakin awesome!

    Nice MA70!!

I have my old toyota fix too.

Latest addition (2016) is my 87 supra. turbo/mt/hartop, blown headgasket (getting a 2jz-gte later this year)

Red corolla was my first car. Still have it. Worth alot more than in 2006 :)
Red 94 MR2 is my dads. My taco in the background.

We share a storage unit to keep 2 cars (and other junk) that would otherwise be outside at home.

    Everything Manual.!!!

    I love the classic yotas!

Hi everyone, I’ve been on here a few years now. Had a 2013 auto that I built and then decided to sell758EF58C-BF99-4E27-9AE9-68F14DCD13C0.jpg

In favor of a 2019 OffRoad 6-speed. I missed driving manual so much, glad to be back again! Now for the mods! Thankfully most of my suspension will transfer over. And I sold my armor and shell, so I didn’t break the bank too terribly bad.

I had 06 Toyota Corolla Xrs 6spd MT. Loved this car but it was totalled when someone rear ended me on my way home from work last month. Got my 2019 Tacoma TRD Sport 6spd MT to replace my car after finding out it shifts the same way my car did.

So, I’ve been lurking on these forums for a few months now, doing a bit of research on which Tacoma I want. I think I’ve decided on a ‘20 TRD OR DCSB in Cement once they come out. One thing I’m still kind of on the fence about is Manual vs Auto. I currently drive a ‘91 Nissan skyline GTR, and I low rowing the gears on it. It sucks in traffic I’ll admit, but I still feel like I’d have more fun in the manual.

Sweet R32. I see a few of those running around these days. None in that cool blue though.

I have said only handful of times over the past 25yrs that an MT has sucked in traffic. Although, I have said that an AT sucks in traffic every time that I am in one.

IMHO, the 1st gear ratio works really well, all around but esp creeping along in traffic.
