    Oh, I got pro help. After @loginfailed had issues with his install I figured I had no business doing this on my own. Also, I had a vibration issue that I had convinced myself was the torque converter because we had been through all the normal drive-shaft angle, balance, etc. I figured the entire trans was coming out anyway. So, my mechanic installed the VB, performed a flush and then added some extra ingredient to the trans fluid. Vibe went away. Shifts were awesome.

    I did read all the instructions and figured if I had access to a lift it all seemed straight forward. I would not want to do it laying on my back.

    I went from a $30 shift kit to a used trans for $1500 + $4500 IPT build. No biggie. :D

    Okay, I'm a little lost here and there's a lot of pages to sort through. Cliff's Notes?

    1) Buy MPVI2 with 4 credits from HPtuners for my truck
    2) Create my own tune
    or
    3) Buy a tune from someone who has more free time/knowledge/patience than I do?

    Also, where are we at in terms of the naturally aspirated tunes? Better driveability, improved shifting, improved MPGs, etc.?

    As far as NA tunes, most are rocking the @JustDSM tune better smoother power, more responsive due to throttle pedal mapping, and better mpgs under higher loads.

    what kind of vibes were you having? ive done several drain and fills, a flush, added lubeguard shudder stop, adjusted the lockup solenoid, replaced the trans mount.. Im pulling my hair out every time I drive it because of vibes.
