Bought my truck from them, had an okay experience. That's bullshit that you failed, at least the trucks looks good!

 

We truck camped; we were on a shore site this time around because we wanted to do some logging road exploring and hike Aziscohos mountain. We just had the kayaks so I could still do some fishing, lol.

 

Probably didnt help the ATV trails were closed. It seemed rather dead in Eustis with no ATV/SXS ripping around

 

The roads we were on were in pretty good shape, but I did find a few banks of snow still, off in the trees next to the Lincoln Pond Road. I was surprised.

 

Also, @Noelie84 if you decide to go visit Grand Falls one of these springs, I suggest taking Grand Falls Rd all the way to the gate. That gate appears to be the closest on the map

 

Sugarloaf still had some snow. Pines had a sign saying projected open date was 6/1. The logging roads weren't too bad but some areas we're really soft, I also heard some of the more wooded section of trails still had snow on them

 

Picked up a HF bed extender the other day. Very happy with it so far!

Was the gate open when you went up? It was a long time ago, but I'm pretty sure it was open when we visited.

 

No it was closed. My Gazetteer shows 3 gates, Shaw Pond Rd, Grand Falls Rd, and Dead River Rd all appear to habe gates. It was about 3/4 of a mile from the gate to the falls. Broken off snowmobile parts on the trails though

 

Sounds about right. Anybody cutting around there this past winter?

Yea Big Eddie and Scott Rd both are being logged also out on Tim Pond Rd they're logging

 

There was a snow bank on the road into the launch at Mill Brook on Richardson when we showed up last Wed.

 

My F-150 doesn't either--don't know why they've done away with it.

Thinking about Nashua for game 2! Maybe O'Briens

 

So I spent yesterday painting the house, was a nice day and decided to try to get some sun. Well I got a shit ton of sun and my shoulders and back are lobster red, and been pretty uncomfortable for the last 24 hours even with about half a bottle of aloe. Oh well, got it out of the way early and hopefully I am safe for the rest of the year.


In better news, my Dad is most likely getting in on the Taco train. It won't be his DD, but he's getting rid of his GMC 2500 and doesn't need so much these days, but still needs a bed sometimes. He was leaning towards the ranger, but with the new adjustable seat coming for 2020 I couldn't let him do it. The adjustable seat is important because as he ages he needs to be able to position himself better for comfort. Taco is also nice because comes with all Safety stuff standard and he usually goes with the most basic trims available. So while the safety stuff is annoying to some of us, it's important to have on on his cars just incase these days. Chances are we see him in a SR/SR5 single cab. Maybe I can convince him to go TRD though.
