Thank you for this, I previously thought it was just compression rate that was different.

It shows the part number, which is the Baja kit, not the Pro. Provides the same amount of lift as the Pro. I personally like the Baja ride better. That is a screaming deal and won’t last long. See this thread:

Build looks good. It is the part number for the Baja kit, I love the price too. Don't think the decals being cut off will affect much. My dealership said they can install for $300 and warranty the work.

The package looks to come with the additional hardware you had mentioned in your thread.

So you think I should just jump on it?

If it’s from a reputable vendor I would. You get some height without a spacer or preloaded coils better ride an oem quality plus not voiding your warranty.

I have never bought anything off eBay at all. The seller looks reputable. Sells a lot of vehicle parts, almost 25,000 reviews and 99.2% are positive.

I have bought plenty of various things only thing I’ve ever been burned on was like phone cases an sd cards from China. For truck parts I stick to Amazon or another retailer

If you wanted a Baja kit I would. If you wanted a Pro kit, then I wouldn’t. The ride is very different, I prefer the Baja for my needs.

Welp, got the kit yesterday. Dealership is going to put it on tomorrow and warranty for $300. Will post the before/after pictures with measurements when its all done tomorrow. So here is how it all played out.

I am an idiot and hit the "buy it now" option on eBay, having never used eBay I thought it would just add it to my cart so I could check if there are taxes etc. I also saw the kit on Bonanza for $7 less from the same guy and thought, what the heck, $7 is $7. Bought it off there. All on Sunday.

Get an email from eBay asking me to pay for the item a bit later and I was very confused, googled a bit and found out what I really did. I messaged the seller back the same day knowing its Fathers day, expecting to not hear anything, asking if he could cancel the eBay since I bought on Bonanza etc. Thinking I was about to have to pay for 2 kits. He messaged back a few hours later say no worries and he would cancel the eBay order and ship the Bonanza.

I had also asked if he was willing to negotiate any on the price, myself being active duty, with proof of service(I sent a picture of me in uniform). He said he would give them to me for $700, but I was the only person he would give the deal too because he doesn't make much profit selling the kits for so little.

Overall the seller was great to work with, messaging back quickly as well as speedy shipping. Sent out Monday morning, got to the shipping address Tuesday afternoon. Very grateful he gave me a lower price. Meeting good people like himself is what makes me that much more proud to serve.
I do think that the OP got the exact same kit just without the TRD Logo's. I wanted a Baja kit and that's exactly what I got.

i know it’s been almost a whole year since anyone posted in here, but i just purchased the baja set from the same seller and everything looks legit. I didn’t get the military pricing, as i just found this thread and didn’t know to ask. But all in all, i feel like i got a decent deal for legit OEM Toyota parts. The only thing i’m curious about is the kit i got doesn’t have the rubber bushings / metal washers for the shocks, is this normal? Am i supposed to reuse the bushings from my stock shocks, or was i supposed to get those with this kit?

@bot102 how much lift did your 3rd gen get from the Baja shocks front and rear?

You didn’t AAL or anything else right?

    Cheers,

    Max

    I
Ihave forgotten the measurements since that was over a year ago. I think it was somewhere around 1.75 - 2". I was on stock leafs at the time. Now I'm on Dakar HD's and it greatly increase the travel in the rear.
