Anyone running 285’s with these? After I put them on I noticed how their site gives recommendations on clearance. I’m running a -6 offset with a 16” and was wondering if anyone know the UCAS will clear.

Bought new ball joints to replace the rusty ones, new poly bushings to replace my rubber ones, zerk fittings for the bushings (mine didn't come with them), and will paint them black while I have it all apart. Gonna be like some new uppers up in this bitch.

Nice. U know they will basically do a full swap if you have the old design with mooge ball joints that rust. Thats what i did.
Bought the new set and shipped them back my old ones and got a full refund.
    Just saying.. love my JBA’s

    285/70/17 states 4.5 backspace.
    285/75/17 states 4.3.

I was learning towards 285/75/17 but my wheels have 4.5 backspacing.

I thought it was a tire width limitation. These 2 tires are the same width (11.2”) but the 285/75/17 is 1” taller.

    Am I missing something?

Mine came in last week, beautiful. Planning to put them in this afternoon as long as I can knock off a little early.

Thought it was going to be hard but it was a piece of cake. 2.5 hours by myself including adding new 1/4” top spacers.

Anyone got a list of what is greasable on the TRD Tacomas? Gonna grease these arms soon and wonder what else I should hit. I’ve heard drive shaft and u-joints, anything else?

For a 4wd tacoma should be 5 total on the driveline, 3 behind and 2 in front of T case. ones in front to the front diff are a biotch. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Just did the 3 primary ones not too long ago but have yet to check the two in the front of the truck since I bought it just under two years ago

    Ordered some this morning!

Hoping that my 16x8" 0mm offset (4.5" BS) wheels and 285/75/16 tires won't rub.

Does anyone have any experience running these with 255/80r17 Ridge Grapplers with Ray10s? Trying to see if they will work for my setup.

Looking on their website they mention the 16 inch equivalent to these, but the Ridge Grapplers are 33.31" in diameter and 10.04" in width. Ray10s have an 8.5" rim, 4.3 BS with -10 OS.

Don't want to buy these and have them not work out.

Been thinking about ordering a set of JBAs for my 2013 Tacoma. Currently have Bilstein 6112s set on the 2nd notch from the bottom. They're new so I'm guessing about 1.5"-2.0" of lift right now. Currently have OEM UCAs. Current setup it gives me 1.9 degrees of caster. I'm looking to get around 2.5-3 degrees of caster.

If I install JBA UCAs, can I drive it for about 100 miles without an alignment? From my house to the nearest alignment shop is about 100 miles. I think the answer is yes since caster is only affected but wanna make sure it won’t throw my camber and toe out of spec.

Caster has a direct effect on camber. Certainly, plenty of people have driven much longer but at a point your tire wear becomes an issue. You can eyeball an alignment or use some string and tape measures if its really far off after install.

I just need to drive about 90-100 miles to the alignment shop.
