    During the Potts trip, my winch started sounding like absolute death. Something in the gearing got fooked. It still pulled fine but it wasn’t happy. I contacted smittybilt and sent them this video and they’re gonna send me a new winch. I’ll keep the old one as spare parts, and also take it apart to see what actually went wrong.

    Asphalt or gravel. Mine is asphalt, and looks horrible! I should rip it off and put gravel instead, but that would be a problem during winter with the snowblower:rofl:

    hmmmmmmmmm trying to decide if I should get some 886 coils. I might wait and see how it rides this weekend on the way to the trailer. I lost 1/2'' of lift, you think it would be gained back with the 886's?

    i like the ride of my truck with 884's and bumper... but lost lift of course lol maybe 887's? Higher than 884's but softer than 886's
