I'm on 04B30, as well. With the older 1.05 93perf tune, the shudder on mine is fairly mild, but it's certainly noticeable at the higher speeds+lower rpm's. It feels like it just bogs down when giving it gas and the "bumpy road" feeling can be felt through both the seat and steering wheel.

Can we get a good description of this shudder some guys are feeling? Maybe this would clear up the issue with updating to 1.05.1? I don't feel like I have any shudder or bumpy road feeling in my truck, but then again I am not 100% sure what this feeling may or may not be. TIA

    1. Go on a bumpy road and drive.
    2. Go on a regular asphalt road and drive.
    3. Feel the difference?

    3a. Yes? You're fine.
    3b. No? Update to 1.05.1

Wow, so the shudder is very violent then. Thanks, it does help to have that description. I am sure it's been discussed somewhere in this huge thread...

It’s not violent. It’s like multiple small misfires as if the engine is slightly starving for fuel.

I use to notice it going up an incline with the speed set at the same spot in my commute every day. Funny thing is, it went away with the regular 1.05 lol

Interesting. I noticed it going up inclines as I increased speed. Felt like the engine was lugging really badly, and then whole truck would shake like crazy.

I'm on A60. It would be interesting to see if others with A60 saw the same...

Yep, that sounds like it. Good gas does help. IMO the 91 base tune with 92 gas is quite the tune

I had the shudder on 91 perf (did not clear LV). But not on 91 base (1.05, with cleared LV).

I should be clear. 1.5.1 93 performance is what I'm using. 1.5 base had the shudder, 1.5.1 performance seems to have eliminated almost all of it for me. Now I just have a slightly titchy throttle, especially with ECT on.

Interesting. The performance tunes are fun no doubt, but between the 87/91 base and 87/91 performance, I had a 7 mpg difference because I always wanted to use the performance more than I should. 87 and 91 base have been very good for me and my wallet lol

The other guys described it well. It's like the whole truck shakes because the engine is lugging.

I'm not sure I can wait another 6 months of dealing with the shit with this truck. I'm hoping I can. If the new 2.0 don't fix it I'm done.

The key is to keep a light foot. I actually get better mileage if I use ECT and keep off it. Much smoother shifting for me.

I need to flash back to stock. Probably don’t really need to but will do it just to be safe when the truck goes in for some possible warranty work. How do I confirm that it flashed back to stock. Took it for a test drive and it seemed to be back to stock? Did the identify thing and recalled some posts that I had read that the calibration file names would be the same? Thanks

Oh and not related to the tune, truck did it before tune. Has anyone had a whistle noise around 2500-3500 rpms only when AC is on? That’s why the truck is headed back in.

Been on 87 perf 1.05 for a couple thousand miles now. The dead spots in the pedal at highway speeds are the only complaint I have. Does 87 base have the same dead pedal feel? Been thinking about tryin the base, but the tip in on the performance is pretty damn nice with 35s.
