I'm learning about the history of my "new" 2000 Tacoma Pre-Runner TRD. For example, I just learned it was "TRD" from the Toyota Certified sticker I found in the detailed maintenance records bundle I received. However, I also learned it had been repainted in 2015. It seems that at that time the tailgate may have been repaired or replaced. The original logos are missing. I have found TOYOTA and TACOMA logos OEM to replace those. However it looks like the Black Fender Flares were removed at that time and not reinstalled. I have no idea why. I've not had any luck finding OEM fender flare sets for the 2000 Tacoma. I've found third party sets like the Bushwaker set, but I was hoping to find OEM or even a used pair. Nothing on e-bay, unless I am not looking right. Any ideas here how to find some? Is it worth calling junkyards?

Might be worth keeping an eye out for them here in Tacomaworld.com classifieds as well

It's all relative - compared to the 80 series the Tacoma parts are cheap.

Toyota's flagstaff vehicle. And many would argue the best combination of drivetrain and suspension on a Land Cruiser, already above the rest of the 4x4 world, being coil sprung solid axles front and rear with available factory lockers and the last I6 gasser available as well. Great vehicle.
