    Hi, I looked into it with the team - did they replace it with the new model? It is a different resistor setup they updated.

    Yes they did replace with the new "yellow base" version that came in the mail yesterday. I installed them today and they were blinking rapidly when I used the turn signal. I have been in contact with them in numerous emails and it appears now they will send me a return label to send everything back and get a refund. I hope they find some adequate resolution and dont keep selling a product that is prone to failure. They offered to send me trunk lights for my trouble.....smh. I drive a truck:confused:. I have no real issues with the customer service as it has been good and timely.

    Hows that LED bulb doing a few months later? Thinking of getting some LEDs for summer time as I don't like my HID shake when offroading all the time in the summer...

    Also, did deauto get banned?

    LED's are still running strong and working great with no issues so far. I honestly haven't been on TW in awhile. I just hopped back on, so idk whats going on here. I have been super busy with a new Job and got married in February so I haven't been able to do any testing at all.

    Is the XD LED pro the next best thing to get?

    They could have been blocked temporarily, due to cross posting or violating a rule. I am not sure if they have or haven't though. I do know that so far all of the products I have tested they have all performed great and I am using them all.

    Their customer service is excellent though and they truly honor their warranty.

    The only issue I have had with any of their products is the Turn signal bulbs when using hazards for a long period of time. Due to the size of the bulb and the resistor being built in (that's why they are plug and play with no hyper flash) the leds get to hot after being on for more than 5 minutes and when 1 or 2 diodes go out the bulb then hyper flashes and the rest start to go out shortly after. They replaced the bulbs no problem and send spares as well. However if you use your hazards a lot or EVER these arent a good fit. I have a SwitchPro 9100 switching system with pods build into by rear bumper for reverse lights and i have CaliRaised Amber Orange pods as fogs. My switching system allows strobe and flash function so I use those as "Hazards" when needed.

    Other than that, they are fine. IMO I feel they are slightly over priced when comparing to VLED, Xenon Depot, and Morimoto. DeAuto is trying very hard to build a company and a good reputation and I think this may not have been the best place for them considering the bashing they got from some folks. They just wanted to branch into the Tacoma area and expand there products incompatibilities.

    So in 7 months 4 of my deAutoLED interior lights started flickering or went out. I am done with them, tired of changing them out. I just put the stock ones back in.

    They do seem to have excellent customer service and will replace for free ("lifetime" warranty). But 4 going out seems highly unusual, at least according to what people post online. They do claim to do extensive research for matching LED's to cars for compatibility, but there's a bit of "mystery sauce" involved. I've seen some people swear by them, but then others run into issues, as stated here.

    They are VERY active on a number of other auto sites, to the point of annoyance. I'm not surprised that they are banned now from TW.

    Okay... new to this story...went back a few pages, but didn't find anything I was looking for so I'll ask here;

    I want to update my TRD Off Road with all new LEDs... anyone have suggestions? What works; what to stay away from?

    Man, this thread sure has been quiet latetly!

    My deAuto bulbs are flickering again so I am ripping them out and trashing them. I need some good sidemarker lights for my headlight housing. I got some from the auto store but they are pretty weak...is Hikari the route we've decided for those bulbs? 194bulb size.

    Don't waste your time with the first post. Unless it has been updated within the last couple of months by the OP. That data was based on the tech at that time and since then has improved exponentially.

    Look to @XenonDepot.

    Not sure if anything changed from 2017 to 2019 but my 2017 had H11 in all three. Fogs, Lows and Highs.
