I don’t mind handwashing. I just struggle to combat water spots. Can’t dry quick enough. Never had this issue back east.

Always use a spray wax while drying, usually helps. If not, the waters probably too hard

I hand wash the truck, I just wait a long ass time until I'm willing to wash her. Washed her this Sat. Clay bar, wax, all the plastics and rubber got a nice treatment of 303 aero. Nice thing about Quicksand, as long as the windows are clean the truck looks pretty clean.

Speaking of washing, anyone have any good tricks to hide the desert pinstriping on the black TRD OR fenders? Cant see the marks on the body after a wash but the fenders are starting to look a bit tore up

Ha, yeah I figured about 1500 of its 7k miles are on dirt. I could run out and take a picture of it right now and other than the pinstriping on the fenders you wouldn't be able to tell. The dust makes the body way worse than it really was in that picture.

Mother's Back to Black plastic restorer works great on the Toyota plastic. I refreshed mine a few weeks back when I detailed my rig. Last week I was at the Chemical Guys store and they had a ton of stuff for plastic also.

Finally had to break down and make another appt with my ankle doc. Will be 4 weeks Thursday other than 1-2 days the swelling is still just as bad as 4 weeks ago. I'm beyond bummed was making great strides and this it's becoming a massive set back.

MT stuff, RTT stuff, the usual.
That sucks, think I need another tune up in my ankle too.

Unrelated, it how the hell can you bring back black powder coating? Seems dull and fading. If nothing else I’ll just krylon over it

Does anyone want my FIVE Cooper STT pro’s? 285/75/16. No plugs no patches just some sidewall wear from wheeling. I can take up close pics of the treads to show that these barely even have 7000 miles on them. Love these tires but I want to go bigger

FIVE of them for $800 (normally $240/ea). I need an excuse to jump to 35’s.

What kind of safety/emergency stuff does everyone keep packed in their truck?

I'd like to put together a kit of the essentials seeing as sometimes I go out trail riding alone. Aside from always letting someone know exactly where I'll be I don't keep too much packed in the truck besides some basic hand tools and extra water.
