California toads did well this year at one of the ponds I monitor.

Good luck with that, life is a use it or lose it deal so figure now or never. I'm looking at 3 1/2 months left to my 50's and those last ten were a big change. At least I had plenty of epic tales from the first half. Avatar is me on the face of Half Dome. Now it's more sedentary exploits like scuba and golf.

That's awesome! It is great to see wildlife come back like that. Just like those Elks grazing in South San Jose.

Agreed - I remember as a kid we used to have toads everywhere, front yards in the neighborhood, could hear them at night croaking away. They slowly disappeared of course with development and push into the bay. Cool to see them making a comeback.

Excellent advice! I'm still a few out but I think the biggest sentiment is going to be "hopefully the next 10 take a little longer and not go by so damn fast!"

A coworker was showing other people one of those things. I think it's a slug. One of the female cashiers walked through the room and said the same thing

The first thing the gal was eating is called a geoduck. Pronounced "gooey duck". It's a clam.

i'm surprised Cali Raised does not offer a budget mount... or anyone else as far as i could find. something this simple has to be available for cheap, no?
