    Hey folks. You are all likely well aware of the front diff drain plug short comings. I've been using Lexus part # 90341-24016 for a couple of years now... it has a 14mm nut in place of the 10mm female hex, all other dimensions and features are the same. Retail is $10ish.

    A thing or two...
    No need to change the rear. It already has a standard hex head size.

    This is a direct replacement for the
    $13 90341-24014 Front Differential Drain Plug
    90341-24014. It will fit pretty much any Toyota clamshell front differential made.

    Torque is the same.

    For the M18 locations in transmissions, t-cases, and rear axles, I use 90341-18035... and if it will fit, the giant 90341-18044.

    I wouldn't want the rear to have a raised hex like that, it already hangs low enough as it is and gets mangled easily if you drag your diff over something (while offroading). The way the rear plug is designed it at least sits flush with the surrounding lip that helps protect it from getting mangled up. If anything I think it'd be a good idea to weld a slightly bigger ring around the outside of the drain plug on the rear diff.

    Replacing everything worn, broken, and rusted.
    Do this fit the drain and fill plugs? @TheDevilYouLove Just had to have my old drain plug air hammered off at the shop. No budging with chisel, fluid, or breaker.
