I'm sure there has to be quite the gains with a tune. I haven't installed my afr gauge yet. But I still ping when I'm in high gear and smash the gas. I've become an expert on going around those ping areas and once I am past part throttle point and the meth pump starts spraying, the car just takes off all the way to redline without any pinging :D

Do it now, your tune is not in a good place if you have to drive like that. I have zero ping issues and do not run any retard with my W/M setup.

You need to know your AFR!, numbers
You will not know what size nozzle without knowing your AFR or when to start
    the spray at what Boost.
If you run too lean or rich you will burn your cats up too.
If you have to do a dyno test to find out I would say do that.
    Is your setup progress?
And where is your start spray point?
    And nozzle size?

I have zero ping anywhere before boost or in boost with a number 3 nozzle

That’s how it should be running With zero ping anywhere

I'm about to purchase a Snow M/W 210 stage2 kit used at a pretty good price I think (350). Its the kit with the MV-50 progressive controller which is comes as a mountable gauge showing boost and/or flow I think. I was going to go with Devils own but read that Snow would be a good second choice. The price on the Snow has me leaning on getting this used kit. Anyone comment on my choice with Snow vs. Devil Own? Old debate I think but had to ask.

If your paying 350 used I would spend the extra money and get a new system, just my two cents

Cheapest new I found was about 450 on Amazon. I would probably go new for the extra hundred but the guy selling the "used" unit claims it was only test fit to his vehicle, has never been run or seen any fluids. Claims he was able to tune his engine and M/W was ultimately not needed. Could be BS but it all comes in the box and all. Could be legit.

What do they run on eBay? If you can wait, you may be able to get one with their 15% off coupon they typically run monthly.

Yea. Same thoughts came to my mind regarding the warranty. The used unit is on Ebay. The guy is local to me though. Only about an hour away... I was going to do local pick up and meet him to check things out for piece of mind. But even doing it that way... no warranty. Think you convined me. Think I'll be getting the same Snow 210 kit off Amazon this week.

We kinda got away from my one question in the thread on the vac hose connections. Can some one verify those hose connections on the the two side-by-side barbs? Brake booster and evaporator connections?

Failsafe AFR / BOOST gauge arrived. Buying it was the easy part.
    Now to get it installed.
I’m pretty excited about this failsafe function on this guage with the methonal kit
because if the methonal nozzle is clogged or ran empty or the pump not putting out
enough pressure or some other issue the gauge will actually cut the boost from the supercharger so
your engine will never be in danger of running lean or to rich. This type failsafe guage is probably
a must have if running a methonal kit for engine protection.

Can’t say enough about the beautiful of the methonal kit,
It’s 75 degrees today and on a hard pull supercharger is cool enough that you can touch it without any issues and pulling 25 degrees timing.

The methonal keeps everything so cool compared to my heat soaked days with the supercharger.

I did move up to a #4 nozzle after porting the supercharger and throttle body.

Icon/TC Mid travel, TRD S/C, PNP Greddy EMU, 625cc injectors, 2.2 pulley, Hayden tranny cooler, AEM wideband, TRD boost gauge.
Looks like something I can wire into my s/c bypass setup to turn the boost "off". I've had vacuum leaks or the vacuum reservoir is not sufficient as my manually switched bypass starts to loose vacuum fairly quickly... Or maybe it's the orientation of my solenoid's ports (resistance to flow).

How does that kit sense water flow?

Although I posted awhile ago about installing meth injection on my 03... still haven't done it yet. Quetion for you meth guys: I installed an AFR gauge not long ago and that is working out nice. However, if I get one of the injection kits with a gauge/cut-off feature, they have a sensor too. That would need to be welded into the exhaust as well I suppose. I dont have a lot of placement options. My AFR gauge/bung is in one of the only spots for putting anymore in. Does anyone know if its possible to use both the AEM AFR gauge and a meth injection controller gauge off the same sensor? Should I just resell the AEM gauge and use a controller gauge? I was thinking of the Aquamist system. That Innovate gauge looks like an option too if I piece together my own system.
