    I’m prepared to hand over my 19k post Mayoral status. Didn’t know it would end so soon :humble:

    Mobtown bolt ons, I know they have a lead time, but shipping was about $200US (they have their own shipping company arrangement) to Hamilton, they did the customs paperwork and pre-paid the duty fees so there was no border delay. It saved a bit because I had them shipped to a commercial address. Trucking companies charge more for resi addresses.

    Frame flexes more than the sliders do... Lol

    I got the standard 20 deg ones, except for the kickout they sit about 1-1.5" past the outer arc of the doors, perfect for most types of door ding protection too.
    Works good as a step so you don't scratch the shit out of your door sills getting in and out but don't stick out far enough to get in the way when your leaving the truck.

    I sat mine on a milk crate and then slid the crate under the truck, made them real easy to install.

    The C channel wrap at the front and the clamps on the back flange as well as all the other usual through bolts to the frame etc really nail these things to the truck.

    I have not jacked up the truck by just the kickout, but we did lift up the truck with a mechanics lift by the sliders in 4 spots and the sliders
    -barely- moved,
    it appeared that the frame caused more of the movement than the sliders flexing, lol but we were not climbing under or lift or lifting the truck more than a foot, just in case is slid off.
    So seemed solid enough to me.

    Sliders are worth it, no matter who you go with, Lol will even pay for themselves if you're a mall crawler from door dings alone.

    How do those attach to the frame at the back, I see two holes there on where they go in the inside of the frame. Mobtown uses beam clamps there, maybe just adding a couple of those may help....

    My guess;

    All 4 transvestite midgets fit just fine, and he even had room for a case of beer.

    Remove it and be done with it. I've done quick maneuvers and the truck feels fine.

    I hear ya, I tell myself that then go to remove it and chicken out.

    Think if I follow Dax's lead and take it off then do the moose test. Prove to myself it is good.

    Ahhh ok yeah I can see exactly now why you would have an issue.

    2 pieces of angle iron to make a C channel to weld onto the sliders frame plate and wrap around the back of the frame to attach beam clamps like the Mobtown ones will fix those right up.
