Only ordered 4. Gonna roll with the stock spare since I’m only going one size up.

Thanks! I hear yah, I had them in my ‘09 as well. Was able to eliminate that by using a sun shade to block out any sun and heat when not in the truck. The ones in my new ‘17 are perforated so supposed to be good at heat dissipation.

Im torn as I have both the Clazzios and the same rims. I think I’m leaning more to Clazzios. Instead of just looking nice you have comfort as well. Mine are very comfy!

    Sorry mis quoted. @Cratical

Did you go with custom seats or just ordered that all black they regularly carry in stock? Honestly I might feel comfortable spending the money on both if I went with the all black clazzios but I also wanted to get in touch with a sales rep and add some subtle yet unique accents in a custom set.

Are you talking about the all black perforated leather or the other material? I know the all black perforated leather is their hottest seller, I had to wait 2.5 months for mine.

I believe so. I know I've seen people talk about ones that are just all black, always kept in stock, and ship out within 2-3 days unless back ordered. Then there are custom ones that take months to ship out.

I think the all black pvc is what they may carry more stock of. From what I’ve seen over the last year all black perforated leather is the hottest and usually back ordered. Unless you get really lucky. You can go on their website and plug your truck info in and it will tell you what’s in stock. Here are some useful links. Give them a call, they can help you choose what’s best for you and give you ETAs. Also don’t forget $100 discount code: TACOMAWORLD.

thanks dude you've been extremely helpful. A question about the wheels though, what tires are you running with them? I don't quite understand how tire sizing works but BFGoodrich says that my tires only go down to a minimum of a 7.5" wheel, however the matte black TRD Pro wheels say theyre only 7"... this is confusing

Yea I was trying to figure out how to keep the chain from dinging up my nice wheel & said screw it. I took the whole assembly out which weighs quite a bit also!

Sorry I was putting my kiddos to bed. No problem at all. The 7” wheel is just the width front the front lip of the wheel to the back. Are you taking about the TRD pro 4 runner SEMA rims? The 17” rims? I have BFG KO2s C Load 265/70/17 with the 4 runner pro sema rims. I’ll post a pic of the setup. Not the greatest pic but you can zoom in.

I too have the BFG KO2s but C Load 285/70/17, and I was looking at getting the following TRD Pro wheels, not sure what vehicle they originated from but I believe my tires are too large? Unless they can be squeeze in to a narrower tire than is listed as the minimum for the size I have. Problem is I have no idea how this stuff works lol

Usually the manufacturers website will tell you the minimum wheel width for the tire size. If I remember correctly the Wal-Mart website provides this information as well. Try Tire Rack also.

Those wheels will work with your tire size. A lot of guys running that setup on here. But you might have to trim with the 285...

Ok yes those are the rims I have, they are the TRD Pro 4R SEMA rims. Now that’s a good question I’m not totally sure of lol. I was looking on the specs for KO2s in the 285/70/17 range and saw what your talking about, the 7.5”-9” rim width range. I had originally thought your were talking about 265/70/17. I think it’s calling for wider wheels but could be wrong. Im almost positive all 3rd gens come with 7” wheel width.

It's the original mirror. The bottom plastic piece pops off and I drilled a hole in the bottom to install the light. They come in 18mm and 23mm sizes. I used the 18mm and @PapaRee who I got the idea from used the 23mm. Can't go wrong with either size.

So I was doing a search in regards to the 285s w/ the pro wheels and I’ve seen some say you can but others say don’t as the manufacture recommends. Here’s a screenshot of one users issues. I’ll include the link as well.

Ah see there's the TRD Pro wheels and then there's the TRD Pro SEMA wheels, the ones I linked previously are not considered the SEMA wheels and are 7" wide but these here say they are TRD Pro SEMA wheels and list them as 8" wide which actually probably look better. Only problem is I didn't want gloss at all like the SEMAs are, I really wanted to matte finished ones instead which are the smaller size.

    Also look at this fookery:
    image1.jpg
    image1 (1).jpg

So I spent a day and a half trying to figure out if the TRD Pro wheels fit the tires listed on the paperwork and then I went and double checked the actual tires with my neighbor since his brother works for Michelin and sends him pallets of free tires(plus he took off his TRD Pro wheels and just has them collecting dust in his garage so I'm hoping he will let me get them for like 60% less for retail plus shipping from CA to FL). I was hoping my neighbor could get me a sweet deal on some new tires since it was looking like I would need to get some if I wanted to Pro wheels.

I've got so many wires crossed boyz its nuts

I’ve been having a problem with my slimline 2 bed-rack from front runner. It was vibrating and making a lot of squeaking and rattling noises while driving on smooth pavement. Like a crap ton, even the slightest bump and squeaky tin squeak. And it was just straight up annoying trailing with windows down. I am fairly certain the culprit is no load directly on the load bars (most of the time) and very flexible bed. I contacted front runner and they added a rack truss to my cart— now the price was 55 bucks, and honestly I was just curious on what their solution was really like. I got it today and it was a very simple piece with the hardware needed to attach it to the rack. So— 55 bucks kinda steep but I’ll eat it today. The instructions show it installed upright but I’m sure you could attach it to the underside no problem. It only took 2 minutes to install.

Did some driving and I would say with the support on the empty load bars it has helped significantly— reducing the bleeps, sweeps, and the creeps by 90%. Still some rattling when recovering from sunken man hoe covers but not as noisy. I’ll hit a trail this weekend when I get my new tires Friday :)

I did not notice I did not align it straight and center until driving down the road and peering into the rear view mirror lol.
