When you have a wife as awesome as mine you always get surprised.
An early Fathers Day Present.
I had to get rid of my rod separators because they cracked.
Had a moment Monday when a couple of my rods got tangled in the well.
Was just talking saying I needed to get some better ones.
Fast forward to today.
She went online Monday and ordered a set of rod sleeves.





I can never get presents for people.
Just don’t have the forward thinking to do that stuff....

She’s such a sweetie....

 

Because I don’t change lures. I just pick up another rod with the lure I want on it.
I hate changing lures as it waste time if I have a missed strike, I’ll come back with a different lure right away instead of trying to change the lure.
Plus I have 2 spare baitcasters, a spinning rod, and my ultralight in the well also.
If I have an issue with a rod I just drop it off to the side and pick up another one. I don’t want to spend my time fixing one when I can be fishing. I’ll fix it when I get home..

I do have a fly rod.
Use it once or twice a year.
Way to many false casts. Have to be careful of my wrists.
So 3 false casts is 3 good casts on my equipment.

 

Like I said I had plastic ones.
Just didn’t get around to getting some new ones

 

Worse, they pulled stucco off the house and the hauler won't pick it up for a week

wow that's twice the work. put it in the driveway then from the driveway into the dumpster. that labor can get costly …..but you knew that all ready.

 

Texas Roadhouse is decent. Just had a 26 oz Porterhouse, rare, hold the ketchup.

 

Ikr?. How hard is it to coordinate a roll off dumpster?

 

no. Tech said the issue was the cut off switch to the drain pain in the attic. when it senses water, it kills the system, so the water doesn't overflow and dump my ceiling on the floor. and I'm too chicken to try it....
