Anyone wanna go trail driving???

I would love to go trail riding somewhere in southern Cali next week I live in Fontana so anywhere around this area would be nice

 

So u wanna go maybe get a little group for next week

What about Burns Canyon Trial?

 

Well whippersnapper has Monday off which works for me how about u yoytoda and i dont know anything about burns canyon so it's up to the group

 

or gold mountain trail... wait nevermind, hes 2x

burns canyon is in big bear.

cleghorn is probable closest to you.

 

I don't mind driving to big bear it's a ok drive u down to go up there

 

i live there... lol

The trail is about 2 hours to 3 hours long.. A nice chill trail starting from Pioneertown going up to Big Bear.. There is one water crossing the way I went, the other way I am not sure if there is a water crossing or not. A 2WD can do it if they are being careful up the steep hill parts.

we could hit the skyline trail after. lotta nice views. or we can take the gold rush trail, some pretty cool things to see on that one including an old gold mine

 

So burn pines on Monday does that work for u guys? Is there a specific tome u wanna go? I am avaliable all day so whenever works for me

 

We are doing Burns Canyon? If so we going up it or down it? I'm confused.... And Yoytoda all the other trails are wimp worthy?

 

Hey I might be in a wimpy version of a Tacoma lol but I am down for whatever and I didn't read yoytoda post all the way so any trail u guys wanna to me and my wimpy Tacoma (for now) will go

 

burns canyon starts at on the other side of big bear from rancho cucamunga area. he is also a 2wd open diff (if hes stock) so the trails im talking about are more scenic drive through the woods with some bumps.

 

No No I meant wimpy for me!!! I am a good driver and all but I have no NO real off-road experience!! I like driving on dirt roads...

 

I started from Pioneertown/Yucca Valley when I took Burns Canyon.. So we can start there or start at the top where you are talking about..

 

im not picky. Its a short drive for me either way.

 

gold mountain trail. I suggest 4wd and at least LSD front and rear.

 

I rather drive up, just because on the scary part of the trail you are not on the drop side! LOL
