Shadowrunner on IG has a cool setup. He had a hoop welded to the seat base. You can see it in his BST thread here:

Regardless of how you connect to the vehicle, you want/need at least a main hoop if you're running harnesses.

The stock seat belts allow your body to lean over in the event of a rollover. If you're in a 4- or 5-point harness, you're stuck upright and gonna snap your neck if the truck rolls.

Assuming your activities warrant harnesses, you'll gonna need a full cage. If you're just doing it to be cool, you'll still need that main hoop to protect your noggin in the event of an accident in that mall parking lot.

His IG has a better view (but I'm at work rn). It looks like it is connected to a pretty beefy seat base. But you are right. There is a lot of leverage potential.

    ^ See? I wasn't kidding. :)

Stay safe out there, folks. We don't want anyone getting hurt because of some partially implemented truck modification.

While I agree with this logic, I keep looking at all my kids car seats. Sure they aren't sitting up quite as high as an adult is but they are all five point harnesses and they sit up high enough to where I could see their heads getting hit if the roof caved in enough.

Wife says no. Only getting rid off truck parts:rofl:

I'm only selling because I have a set on my truck already. No need for spares

Came with the truck. Bought 3 matching new seats. No issues with old ones just wanted to change them up
