If you use a CC to pay for tuition and don't pay it off the next month you'll get hit with as much or more interest than a student loan will have.

Student loans are generally way more forgiving than credit card loans/debt.
Not to mention most student loans are deferred until 6 months or so after you graduate

I still wouldn't recommend that, then you're paying 2 separate interests at once....CC companies demand a certain minimum payment every month with interest, most student loans will work with you on a customized smaller payment if you tell them your situation. CC companies don't give a crap and will send collectors after you

But in theory yes, if you never miss a payment and make every one in full every month...it would be a good credit raising scheme lol

For now you mean, most companies give you 12 - 18 months no interest...they make their money off of the interest (and late fees)

Unless by 'credit card' you mean mom and dad lol

All credit cards have an interest plan, whether it starts immediately or after a certain amount of time...otherwise they're not making any money and just loaning you money out of the kindness of their hearts lol. Which I guarantee you they aren't.

Either the interest is being factored into your monthly minimum payments or you pay the whole thing off to a zero balance every month and they only charge interest on remaining balances

I never pay the full amount off. I pay close then use the card then repeat. And my min payment is 25$ no matter what

If you only carry over 25 bucks then of course you'll have next to no interest charged. Like how much is it a month? Buck fitty or so to carry over 25 bucks?

Do you have a credit union card? Maybe the interest is being added to your balance and the minimum payment is fixed.

I promise you they aren't just letting you borrow money without getting something in return. Only exception I can maybe think of is a credit union card, I know credit unions offer really good CC terms

Not if you don't have a balance. Then your payment is $0. If you have a really big balance then your payment will be way more the $25. lol
