Different, yet the same. At least I am consistent lol. Three different purpose built rides and they all have some commonality.

Headed up Beebee. Did the Oates Loop opposite, rode up Beebee and down Oates just to change it up. Surprisingly not too crowded on Memorial Day at 2pm.

Okay. So I couldn’t wait. Had to throw em on. The rear rotor (although not warped, got super heated on a downhill couple weeks ago. Turned purple and melted my glove when I accidentally touched it while checking the chain. :bananadead:

But stoo-ped weather isn’t cooperatin’. Have to wait to bed the rotors.

I posted this in the Colorado Trading Post, but it may be more relevant here. These are small enough that I could mail them. I'd just ask you to cover shipping. Don't want to hijack this thread since classifieds are not the purpose here, so DM me if interested.

Sorry if its been discussed, but how do you keep the bikes from tipping over when they're on the tailgate mat? My 29ers can't seem to stay up.

Nice setup! Random question: What's the distance from your cab to the front crossbar that the frontloaders mount on?

The Yakima Gatekeeper has five downtube straps that seem to hold mine pretty well.

Gotta try it that direction sometime. Do you ride all the way to the top of Oats Peak? That’s definitely hike-a-bike for me ... not too crazy about the descent when it’s dry and loose either.

Just wanted to followup on this tread for anyone planning on mounting the Yakima Frontloaders to KB Voodoo high-rise bars (3"Wx1.5"H) - they wont mount as the cross bars are too wide/high.

I am now looking for a way to mount the round tube Yakima cross bars to the KB Voodoo bars - a bit silly but I really wanted a tonneau cover with bikes above it. Anyway will post pics once I figure out how I will modify it.

Also can confirm the anodizing on the KB Voodoo comes off with friction between the uprights and the cross bars, I will look into some Rust-Oleum products to touch up the rails and uprights. I have only had them for 3 weeks.

Anyway still in love with the truck just need to find the right setup - I feel like there is a huge gap in the market when it comes to mounting things above a tonneau cover and being able to quickly remove that system still use the bed of the truck to haul large items. Taco on fellas!

Oates Peak is my favorite trail at MDO. I have gotten thrown into Poison Oak on the way down from the top of Oates Peak.

If you get a chance to measure it, I'd really appreciate it. I'm looking at that bike mount, but I'm not sure where to install my crossbar in order to keep the bike tires from touching the cab.

Too much math involved with multiple bikes, and I'm too lazy for trial and error...lol

I went with the Mobtown Offroad Low-rise Bed Bars for similar reasons. They use standard 80/20 crossbars and sit high enough (6") to allow my roll-up TruXport cover to work perfectly.

I'm looking at the Frontloader, as well.
