2013 DBL Cab LB. Looking to add a rack on the shell that can support a tent system. Id prefer a cargo rack that is always on the shell and be able to add the tent when I travel. Any links or info would be great. Thanks

I would start with other owners experiences have been with RTT on the same canopy. I would not trust a canopy to hold the rack and a RTT without people sleeping in it unless it was designed specifically for that. I would look for a rack that was mounted to the bed rails external of the canopy and not rely on the canopy at all . I would also want the load transferred directly to the frame. You will still need to address the issues of the bedrail and bedside load capacity. They are known to crack.

Yes, see if you can find the serial number and ask the manufacturer for the capacity of the model you have. Snugtop offers the "sportsmans package" as an option. It increases the cap's weight capacity to 500 lbs. The default capacity is 200 lbs, IIRC.

20190531_124525.jpgI put a front runner tray on my snugtop hi-liner (with sportsmans). I'm not into RTTs, just like the versatility of the rack.
