I owned the 4 runner since early 2017 so I had both the 4runner and tacoma at the same time. both on road trips and off road.

I'll only be back when Toyota fixes their problem with the transmission. They gave me the finger with the TSB update however my next door neighbor who has a pro they did it johnny on the spot. WTF! I had the truck looking exactly they way I wanted it. But to make it right I would have to replace the shocks by playing the suspension game and not knowing if im going to like it. I played the suspension game on a 350z and swapped it out a total of 7 times dissatisfied realizing stock handled the best. The other thing was wanting toyota to fix the tranny/engine issues and not to have to go out and get an orange virus flash-----people were mostly happy with a few 100% satisfied but many not totally satisfied. other than the two issues i agree a great truck but they were issues i could not live with. maybe next time or maybe a tundra. For now I love the way the 4runner handles. I have bridgestone revo 3's on it right now. My Bilstien 5100s just arrived today. I need a 1" spacer in the rear and will be going 1.75 in the front which happens to be the same height as my tacoma before i sold it.....i am keeping the stock springs as I like the ride.

Like you said I will probably be back.....but not in a 3rd gen. Maybe the 4th gen will have a diesel

Only chrome left on exterior of truck. Thinking about doing the beadlock bolts in blue? :notsure:

You are entitled to your opinion.

You are correct...it is NOT a Holiday. It is a day of remembrance and time for people to reflect.

Your quote on "sissyass" is offensive to me and I will take it. However, many folks do not understand the history of this date and it's importance.

What I am 110% in favor of is the fact that many folks actually take the time to honor our fallen brethren....if it happens a day or two apart, I am OK with that.

    Tomorrow is a solemn day.

    Respectfully,

    Pop

I agree it will never be a Pro. Its better than a Pro because it looks exactly like one with an extra $10,000 in your pocket. Take any Sport or OffRoad, add a better than Pro suspension, SEMA style wheels, Clazzio Pro seat covers, Pro grille, DEPO brand Pro headlights and taillights and a Pro style decal kit and BAM you gotta Pro with thousands left in your pocket. I say this and I like the Pro. Just not the overpriced part of it. Can you feel my frustration that you cannot buy an access cab Pro.

Thanks man. Yea I don't need to prove anyone it's a Pro. I'm even proud to say I converted my Sport into a Pro, lol... and share to our brothers it's possible to be done. We are all entitled to our own happiness. Thanks!

The 8” eBay wheels are knock offs. The OEM wheels from the 4Runner Pro are 7”.

@Mobtown Offroad skids and sliders. Solo install took about 4 hours for everything

A couple bolts they sent were too short so heading to Lowe’s in the AM before I can mount the transfer case skid

    Everything else is awesome!

Very well said. Yea I have to admit I cannot afford the Pro the time I bought my truck. But that day I purchased it from the dealership I already know exactly what to do to make it a Pro, and I used all authentic OEM parts ordered them from Toyota from the badges to the tail lights, and I'm glad I did what I did. Saved me probably 15k out the door. :)

That's what I was beginning to think, I've never really shopped eBay before so I'm not educated in finding fakes yet. Glad I have all you guys to help me find what's OEM and what's not worth it

haha yes it's inside a cave. I live in eastern Idaho, Rexburg, to be exact. It's about an hour North of where I live, just off a dirt road a few miles off the high way. You have to climb down this huge hole in the ground, then the cave opening is about 4 feet tall. Then about 15 feet down you have to crawl on your belly a good 50 yards or so til it opens up to a pretty large "ice room" It's an old lava tube but is now ice year round. Honestly I haven't seen anything even close to this since I visited Alaska a few years back.

What size is the TRD emblem you installed on tailgate? Where did you order it from?

I don't recall the size. I am guessing 2.5" wide by 1" tall. Ordered off ebay. Been over a year but there were many vendors selling there. Just get a stick on and not the kind that is screw mounted.

If anyone is a fool like me, recommend some Meguiar’s. Unsuccessful job at removing the chrome decals.
