Ah see now enthusiasts are complaining about not being able to get a pro WITHOUT a sunroof (it’s one I agree with)

I was being sarcastic because, and correct me if I was misinformed, my salesman told me they’ve never manufactured the Pros with keyless/push start/wireless keys. He told me it was because Toyota as a company told dealerships that when somebody is spending a premium on a Pro that they’re such hardcore out door junkies that they need a manual key with no electronics that way it won’t get fried and they can’t start their truck when they get it wet in the middle of nowhere...

Is that true? None of the pros have a electronic/wireless key or was my salesmen bullspittin me? I can see that being a thing, but then again they also made sunroofs mandatory in pros which seems pretty dumb to me because sunroofs don’t make sense on a truck that quite often gets a roof rack

Digging the MS Paint front license plate bro, how much did you pay for that discontinued vintage accessory?

Not sure what the options are now, but for 2018 you could not get a sunroof on the pro, but the smart key was standard (with an automatic trans)

I think from 2020 on you can only get a Pro with a sunroof and people were a bit annoyed with that, if I understood/remember correctly.

Interesting. I’m not sure why the salesman would even bother telling me Pros didn’t get the keyless entry when he knew I wasn’t interested in them at all lol guess people like to use their imagination and make stuff up

Honestly if I was offered a Pro for the same price as my sport or and OR, and it had every single bell and whistle but it didn’t have keyless entry and push to start I’d turn it down in a heartbeat. I’d say that is probably the absolute cannot live without feature for me. My Mazda3 had it but it had a button on the door handle instead of the motion/soft touch features for locking and unlocking. That door handle button was finicky as hell, though. The Tacoma is much better in that regard

I was in to the dealer yesterday for my first service at 8000km, and I had mentioned to them that around 60kmh if your holding your speed steady there’s a slight shudder and had described it like being in to high of gear in a vehicle with a manual trans. When I got it back he had said there was an update out for the torque converter for a shutter between 50-70kmh. Most of my driving in on rural roads with up and down speeds and the truck drove great, it was only noticeable once I was holding a steady speed for an amount of time I would notice the shudder. Anyways moral of the story whatever they did made a huge improvement on how the truck drives, very happy !

Hey Pop, I didn't like reading that you were offended. Shouldn't have been, unless you voted to make Memorial Day a three day weekend. If not, then I'm confused.
You agree that it's not a holiday; yet that is the exact reason the day marking Memorial Day was moved to a Monday - so that people could have a three day weekend holiday. ???? See, to me that was a sissyass decision. It took away the solemness of the reason for the day. (I stole your word there, thanks for that.)
Those same cupcake voters will move the 4th of July and 25th of December to a 3-day weekend if we let them.
As you said, it is my opinion; and I'll offer it once more. It was the wrong move for the wrong reason.

You nailed it when you noted that many do not understand the history or importance. That is a shame.
(obvious when so many think of it as another Veterans Day)
My spiel got too long. All this detail was what I wanted to avoid by using that one word - sissyass. Guess that didn't work.

So, take time Today to remember them, thank them, and pray for them - The Fallen who gave us our freedoms!

The Scottish Highlanders have an old saying, "If ye say their name ootloud, they'll nay be forgotten!".
If you have brethren or family lost; say there name today, especially Today.

You could save a little by eliminating that front plate for an SEC team, it would certainly get you a little more street cred.....

Someone here in another thread maybe mentioned willtheyfit.com which I checked out. Looks like a real solid tool for figuring out that stuff too.

I think I’ve made enough poor decisions in my life by this point, wouldn’t want to make another one, especially one so obvious... :p

I like it. I’m not the biggest fan of rock/bug guards but where I live small sized rocks seem to be an issue on the highways (probably the case everywhere). Based on the design it will prevent rocks from hitting my hood but time will tell if it will from them hitting my windshield.
