I head up that way atleast once a year now, always looking for more things to see up there. We usually camp for a week and may be a weekend or two for the last 5 summers or so.

We went west on the Golden Road, then up the round pond.

The folks at the check point were quite stern with a huge group of trucks rolling in, but we didn't have any issues.

The one who dies with the most stuff wins.
Ok that's what I've gathered looking at pictures. We went right up Telos road and camped at Crescent Pond. Basically reverse red course on Sunday. What time did you make it to the trains? We parked at like 9:30 and were driving south by 12ish. The whole time driving south I was ready to see the group!

We got to the trains around 1300, just in time for the rain storm.

We tried to hit the ice-cave in the AM, but failed. So that's on the list for another trip.

Sadly my dash cam didn't save video of either moose encounter.

We'll have to go back and look for more.
