I stole it from I believe you! :D We just had to run all 3 after you teased us for bailing on SOB in the snow.

There really needs to be some award for it, simply finding your way to SOB Hill is worth a badge of some sort.

When I did this to mine I had a custom 2 piece drive shaft built with a double cardon joint at Bills Englewood Driveshaft. Eliminated all the vibe problems I had with the original before it got crunched.

Man that was bad luck the way that huge boulder got tire spun in there. Plus Brian got confirmed as Mr "bent" Spindle as well.

    What hasn't been modified?
Take it to Bill’s Englewood Driveshaft. They were able to modify mine to a custom one in a day.
Drop it off, and run your truck in 4hi.

I second this. They were very fast building mine too.

They quoted me $109 to do a modification to an existing shaft which I thought seemed very reasonable. Will be visiting them in the coming weeks for just such a thing.

Don’t remember the exact number but it was ~$500. Included thicker than stock tubing, new u-joints, new carrier bearing, double cardon, and balancing. They reused my flanges and I don’t recall if the slip joint is new or if they reused my old one.

I think this was just to lengthen/shorten one. The "build a new shaft from scratch" price was closer to $850.

The old lady keeps asking me this week if I have plans for fill-in-the-blank date. I told her she needs to get a TW account so she wont have to ask me what I am doing.

She didnt think it was as funny as I did.

Kinda wondered why I used the full shock travel on the driver's side(no dirt line at all like usual where it normally stops just before the shock end)
