Oh god, I never go over 75 towing the boat. My snowmobile trailer has car tires, I'll go 85, but the boat trailer is basically 70mph max on those small 13"ers.

Now that I told my motorcycle since I didn't ride at all last year I of course find myself looking at them on craigslist :frusty:

I still look, too. I'll be on the verge of seriously shopping for another and then I'll be driving in Lewiston and somebody will cut me off.

Same exact thought process. That and the roads are full of potholes on my commute and I always think 'This would suck on a bike'

That's exactly what I did. Sold the nice, shiny sport bike and bought an old thumper. It's a blast to ride but, if it sits for a while, I can easily tear it apart and get it going again and I don't feel too bad if it doesn't get a lot of use. But, I still have a bike when the occasional nice day with free time comes around!

I've been riding sporadically since late march, been chilly a few times lol. Do you baby the motorcycle more or less than the truck?

no like it has some imperfections, and if it's not perfect i don't mind. my boyfriend was making fun of me that i'd take the bike in the rain before the truck. he's not 100% wrong

How's that healing, anyway? No more necrosis issues?

Yeah, it's healed pretty good I guess, the area where the necrosis was removed is numb and I imagine it will be forever. It's not pretty either but I don't really care about that. Skin is all weird in that area.

Are you not looking at getting another? I thought before you mentioned looking for one but I could be mistaken.

I know a guy that wrecked a motorcycle about 30 years ago. The skin still looks all F'd up over where they did surgery on his ankle, but function is pretty normal. He's said that he limped for like 5 years after the fact, though.

Not really, I was riding a lot less than I used to. I get the bug every so often then it passes. I'd like to track ride again but my leathers don't fit anymore and I don't really want to look like:
    fat_biker_1_e4ea4da89f9b134a71f05c7827e1a7e5413407dc.jpg

I usually only limp after sitting for a while then after a minute or two of limping I walk normally.
