Install was rough but they're great. Bit raspy getting rid of that first set of cats but I don't mind too much

Good deal. I went ahead and got a 12” vibrant resonator to help with that. I found the sound clips from @Kyitty and heard that rasp, sounded like the resonator helped quite a bit.

I’m definitely excited to get it all installed and see for myself finally, I’ve had this on my to do/wishlist for a few years now.

Hard to say whether it was noticeable to be honest. I did have it dyno'd originally and gained 17HP if I recall correctly.

I had a K&N Noisemaker at the time too. Use a snorkel now. It's been more than 2 years so I'm just used to it. Still feels woefully underpowered 90% of the time.

Anecdotally I'd say this is probably true. Just looking at theory, you can only blow out what you suck in. So unless you suck more in you can't blow more out.

My dog feels like an absolute dog until I break like 2,300 RPM. Then the HP kicks in a little.

Problem is the truck is programmed to stay under like 2,000 RPM with light driving.

The key is stock catback with the urd headers. I've got enough low end torque. Still has a grumble and isn't obnoxious.

I had a magnaflow catback once, was 2.5" or 3" at the end if I recall. Definitely felt the loss in torque with that setup. It was a total dog until 3k.

Only thing stock on my exhaust is the rear set of cats. Most of the tubing.

I've got a 12" Vibrant resonator and a Spintech 6000 Muffler. Customized exhaust crossover (moved behind the transfer case). Axle dumped the end of exhaust line.

Anyone have interest in a Northstar 31m with a Pelfreybilt cage? I’m going to be posting it for sale soon and I expect the cage to quickly. It’s more convenient to keep them together for the sale, especially if it’s a local one. I’m in Billings.

Anyone have a good suggestion for a reliable toyota mechanic in the Missoula or Flathead valley? I need my lower oil pan changed out (I stripped it last oil change) along with an oil change. I have all the parts (RTV, Lower oil pan, and oil/filter) just don't have my jackstands with me. Need it done by Friday preferably.

Well last sunday night monday morning (12th/13th) my daughter and I got hit with a flu bug. Up all night with upset stomach's. coudlnt keep anything down. Anyway we recently moved to a new house in a nicer neighborhood. Around 3 am my daughter gets up too ask for bucket to puke in, TMI my bad lol but this is how it happened. My daughter got sick, my wife got up, I my self am in no shape to be dealing with that right then being sick myself. so my wife gets up and helps my daughter. after a quick bath my wife takes my daughter to bed and my wife goes and looks out our bedroom window. (we have a field across the street that deer like to hang out in at night and she was checking if any where there.) Any way she notices the back hatch to my 4runner is OPEN. At this time I am in and out of sleep and shes trying to tell me that my truck is open. I run out in my underwear, look in the back and notice my drill gun sitting right where i left it. so i think hmm weird maybe we scared them off when we started turning on the lights. close the hatch and go back to bed, and went on with my regular routine. WELL. i decided on saturday (25th) that i was going to finanlly take my wife to yellowstone. being the smart guy i am i think oh perfect i have my binos in the back in case we see something off in the distance. WRONG. I quickly remembered loadin up and not seeing my small bag of gear in the back. I pull over to the nearest rest stop completely tear apart my perfect tetris packing job and cant find it. Turns out who ever got into my truck did get $740 worth of gear. Not covered under either insurance policy. Bummer.

Ps sorry for the poor grammar and spelling just looking to vent.

Oh man Zeke that sucks I’m really sorry to hear that.
And agree with @Blackdawg people f’in suck! While I was moving out of my last place in Portland, I had my truck parked in the street for about 20 minutes as we got the last few things moved out. Someone must have been watching me because while I was making last trip up to the apartment to lock up someone got into my truck (pretty sure it was unlocked- so shame on me) stole my favorite hat, a bag full of random vacuum stuff and cleaning supplies and a lock box under my seat that housed my ruger lcp2 and some ammo. Fuckers.

    That sucks.
Probably a long shot but I'd start calling around to pawn shops and give them a description of the more expensive items. The police probably won't be able to do much but I'd at least get it on record that items were stolen.

I have called the police to file a report. Hopefully they get back to me soon. Have yet to call some pawn shops though.

The funny part is we used to live right on 17th here in Billings. Pretty busy street if you ask me. There's been nights that I happened to leave my garage door open with a garage full of tools or my windows down and nothing happened while we lived there. Knock on wood. Then once we move to a house that's off the main road we get popped. Sucks. New house is under the rims here in town. Some of the neighbors say that people sit up on the rims, pick a house, watch it for a few days so they can get a schedule on it and then go in during the day. Pretty unnerving if you ask me.

After I get new at least new binos (I can live with out a range finder, bino bivy, and e caller for now) I am going to be installing motion detector cameras too watch the drive way.

    Shady ass people....
I can see the busier street being safer - more folks around, less opportunity to sneak in when no one is looking.

Ughh. I hate thieves. That really sucks dude. As @MTgirl said there's probably little or nothing the police can do in cases like this. Sadly.

    Definitely check pawn shops though.

We're seeing break ins at trail heads in town again lately too.

My wife just realized they took my daughters nintendo switch as well. If I want to get anything back its that. This whole mess is so irritating. My neighbors say their cars occasionally get messed with. Said its some people on bikes checking door handles.
