And I didnt really want to do that  still a little worried about what might happen if I smack a deer with that unit specifically. I Might end up bending it back out of line with the bumper to keep it out of harms way.
I'll post pictures in a little bit

Shouldn’t they just bolt in? I have normal seats (not bench). I’m also only 5’4” so not concerned about them being too high

Moved my bike fork mounts from the unistrut along the back wall of the toolbox to the top of the box. Yes, I went to a lot of trouble trying to avoid that originally, but they really aren't in the way there, as it turns out. It makes the bikes fit better, better protected, too. I will need to run a piece of 1X1x1/8 angle iron on the bottom to stiffen the mounts up, though- WAY too flexy as it is, due to the aluminum. Most of my efforts have gone to rehabbing my old bikes and building out a Fuji hardtail frame and a KHS FS frame I recently came across. Now it's time to have a way to transport those bikes to the trails.
Truck has been running like a top. I have even found my MPG is increasing.

No they won't just bolt in. Totally different era of cab and seat.

My 88 buckets were more comfortable I thought than my 1st gen ones though

The 88 bucket seats aren’t the pictured ones. The ones are “99 SR5” seats2C918D44-0595-4600-827D-4EA1D380B380.jpg

3rd gen 4runner seats will have 3 of the 4 mounts line up. The front outside mount is at a different height and angle than the Taco seats. It's not hard to make it work with some shims.
If they're in good shape, that's a good deal on 4runner seats. They are way more comfortable than the stock buckets.

I thought they were 4Runner seats too from the title but when he posted the rest of the description it says they’re out of a 99 Tacoma.

Yeah, sorry maybe this is more appropriate for the BS thread but I’m was confused why he had all these in the same post. He is selling a ton of seats and parts so likely goes to part outs or something. Just seeing what you guys thought

Anyone have the part number to the Lager oil filter? Heading down to the dealership for a new fob though I would get a few while I’m there.

These are definitely 4Runner seats, he may have pulled them out of a taco but that’s not where they originally came from. And if he did get them out of a taco, they’re probably already modified to fit.

Yup, it’s only like a half inch taller. Threads on the exact same. Been using them for years now. Also gives you a little more area to grab when installing/pullin off

I may switch back to the D1 filter since they’re cheap and the D3 is starting to get a little pricey (relatively speaking)

No, not wearing your seatbelt and crashing was the most dangerous threat to your life.

Based on your story, you put yourself in danger by trying to pass someone on an on ramp. Speeding and not wearing your seatbelt just added to it.
