    Another cool thing about the diode Dynamics module is that it is adjustable from 10% up for the running lights. And you could really mount it wherever. And the Bajas only draw .40 amps each and each module is rated for 2 amps, so I should only need one. I’m not sure how many amps the KCs draw.

    Yeah that’s what I like about the diode dynamics one. It tuneable to your desire. The KC cyclones draw 0.42 amps each so they are about the same.

    Hey friends, thanks to @MESO and everyone on this thread, I was able to finally get my light installed today! My wife and kids won't look at it anymore and are tired of hearing about it, so figured I'd move this way lol.

    Thanks so much for the wiring details, painting idea, install method, and of course this site! Can't wait to install puddle pods when they arrive!

    Cheers and thanks again!:bananadance:

    Just a heads up to people with, or considering, NMOs...

    The Baja LEDs give off quite a bit of RFI. I'm going to try from ferrite chokes to see if I can minimize the interference.

    Have you tried flipping your cargo lights on to see if maybe you tied the brake lights in to the wrong wire from the factory harness?

    Factory wires are white (neutral), green (bed light positive), and purple (brake light positive). Double check your wiring.
    3 brake light reds to purple. 2 bed light reds to green. All 5 blacks to white.

    If the wiring is correct and bed light functions properly, you may just have a bad connection on the brake light positives.

    Rethinking that... just get the MESO wireport.
    You can then mount a 40" BD S8 lightbar with red lenses.
    No missing that brake! :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
