Hello Everyone, I have settled on getting the OME suspension with the Dakar leafs.

Just wanted to know if OME offers any rebates through out the year? would it be worth waiting on the purchase to get a discount throu sale or rebate.

    Thanks
    John

I haven't seen OME direct offer any price reductions, but several retailers (wheelers, etc...) do have sales from time to time, so you might get lucky there. We're pretty far away from the typical black friday deals, but you might find a "get into summer" sale or something.

    Maybe 10% or so?

You're not going to find 50% type stuff unless you cruise craigslist for stuff that "fell off the delivery truck".

The deep discounted stuff usually isn't the vehicle specific stuff.

With the OME kit, you very likely won't need UCAs...

Just install the kit without them and get it aligned. If they can't align it for some reason, then look into UCAs, but the folks at OME know what they're doing by not offering UCAs in their 2.5" kit. Basically all aftermarket UCAs (JBA, light racing, etc...) will adjust for alignment issues.

That said, I'm at about 2", maybe a little less right now, but I have total chaos uniball UCAs. I also have mid travel King coilovers, so I didn't want the UCAs to be limiting the travel.

Yeah, those are definitely a pretty good idea if you are constantly messing with your suspension.
