My mom has a highlander of the same generation. I love those seats. Better than my dads 08 imo.

I just cant see 1" making that much of a difference.

For $100 you can swap in some comfortable seats. Again, I understand where the 2nd gen and 3rd gen guys are coming from but it makes no sense for 1st gen owners, assuming raising the seat even further up helps. I'd want the seat lower myself.

You would essentially be the guinea pig for these guys and paying $100 to do so. They haven't even made a set but are saying they will improve comfort... blah blah blah.

What small car is out there where you sit up really high - that doesn't have a high roofline? None. Sports cars you basically sit on the floor. The point I'm trying to make is that the lower you sit, the better for comfort in a small space.

I'm 6'3 and Im pretty close to the roof as it stands.

Yeah thats my thought process. And the guy making them should make some prototypes and let a few folks try them before any gurantees about comfort are made. To me, raising only the front would make it feel like my ass is in a ditch. Not my idea of comfort.

But this would be a simple bolt on solution, some people cant/don’t have the option of welding.

But no one knows if it actually provides any comfort or not. Like he said, youre just a guinea pig in this situation.

    Head unit. That's it.
I'd let em install them for free with a stipulation that I would provide honest feedback and if I didnt like them, that I'd return them.

    I wouldn't pay em....lol.

I'd just buy a seat cushion and see if the extra height helps.

If the springs are shot, thats a whole nother issue. I sit on a folded blanket in the 92 to stiffen the seat up some.

I think a better design would be adapters which would allow you to move the entire seat assembly back a few inches rather than up. ?

Its debatable that its a solution though. Your seats are still going to be uncomfortable. I've never sat in a small car and thought "oh jee, if only the seat was higher would I be more comfortable". No, you want it further back.

Some people cant/dont have the option of removing and reinstalling their seats. Obviously, they are marketing this to the DIY crowd.

This would be helpful especially on the passenger side of my extra cab. Anybody who rides with me always mentions how the seat wont go back any farther.

My 22RE never had A/C. My 3RZ has no A/C or P/S. With a Balancer delete I've got all the HP. :D :burnrubber:except up hill in 5th gear.
