I paid 42k for mine. I have a 2019 TRDOR 4×4 SB with the premium package. (Leather, moonroof, etc.) I had to custom order it because I wanted the cement color in a manual. Ive been drooling over the 3rd gens since 2016 but the colors available for the manuals were very limited. As soon as I found out the manual 2019s came in cement (non TRD PRO), I pulled the trigger. The dealer had me by the balls because I wanted that particular configuration. Paid them a 3% dealer markup from the msrp. The first paper they showed me had a 17% markup. They thought I would give them 52k!!! I left and told them to call me when they would take 42k. They did. I justified the price because I've been driving 2002 TRDOR 4x4 manual for 15+ years. 230k miles and the only major repair I've had to do is rebuild the transmission. And I only did that because of a noisy bearing. It has been indestructible with very low maintenance and I might be able to sell it for 1/2 of what I paid for 15 years ago.The Tacoma has earned my respect. I hope they still build them with the same integrity.

Thats a good deal. I’ve been doing the same, pinging all the dealerships from albany up to portland. The best price quotes were from lassen and corvalis on trd offroad. The “clear” pricing dealerships are kind of funny to deal with. Bordeline competitive pricing, but not really. I knew i was never going to get anywhere with them, so i just made fun of their offer and they would always come back with something much better.
I got a dealership 30 min outside of the city to sell me a car that they procured from another dealership for $1k less than that dealership who had the car would have sold to me for. Which I dont understand at all, but I've never been in the industry.
That is friggen hilarious. I was just wondering about this exact situation recently.

That was without a trade in, but does include the $1k cash back from Toyota. Walked in with own financing, picked up truck with 9 miles on odometer.

Ouch man, you got hosed on that deal. I know dealers generally don't give any mercy on pricing when custom ordering but I didn't think they'd mark it up OVER msrp.

I would have walked out if they wanted anything over MSRP. Regardless, none of that matters now, sounds like you got a great truck, enjoy!

Definitely ouch. But after driving my 1st gen Tacoma for 15 years, and waiting 4 months for the build on my new one I gave in. Too excited. This was also last September before there were hardly any on the floor. Every dealer I asked within 150 miles from me said I couldn't avoid a markup on a custom order. (In response to your comment, I always thought the definition of markup was anything over the msrp...). Even now I've convinced myself I would never find that exact build on a lot where I could negotiate the price.

But you're right, it doesnt matter now. I just took the new truck on Broken Arrow in Sedona and fins n things in Moab. It's no 1st gen but Im still pretty stoked about it.

Very cool man. I gotta take mine to Moab someday

I've owned all three gens and the 3rd is by far the most enjoyable IMO. The added tech makes a difference... Crawl control and MTS are fun and useful gizmos. The truck feels sturdier, is quieter, and smoother than my others.

Welp, have a Taco on hold, they got my info and doing credit check. Im driving down tomorrow to pick it up. (5 hour drive, going to take motorcycle and load it in the bed for the drive home lol)

DCLB TRD OR with tech pkg, and stuff I dont want (mudguards, floormats).
    MSRP: 39,317
OTD Price: 35,238 (not including TTL, also saving a couple hundred in taxes) (also taking 1.9% financing instead of $750 rebate)

Anyone want some OEM mudguards and floormats with low mileage? :)

I've been waiting for the 1.9% financing to come back around for the Tacomas. I still only see the 3.9% deal online. Where in Cali are you located and which dealer did you purchase at?

I have yet to buy a Tacoma as I am waiting for the financing to drop to 0.0% or I might pull the trigger at .9% or I will save my $ for 2-3 years and then pay cash.

Why do I think the interest rate (currently 2.99% for 36 months at B.C. Canada Toyota dealerships) will drop? Toyota Canada and GM Canada both set sales records in 2018 for Tacoma and Colorado/Canyon at around 15,000units each, however only 1500 Tacomas and 1000 Colorado/Canyons have been sold in the first quarter of 2019 in Canada. And there is a new Ford Ranger out and Jeep is about to start selling Gladiator mid sized pickups. I am confident that by August or Sept Toyota will have too much 2019 Tacoma inventory.

Also, sales for the Big 3 domestic full sized trucks in the USA are down around 22% and all 3 have much larger inventories than the 2 previous years at this point. Pickup trucks have the most mark up and are the most profitable vehicles that car makers sell. Car plants are closing and it looks like tough times ahead for car companies.

    I think it's 1.9% for 5 years, 3.9% for longer term.

I'm taking the 35k and just throwing into my 2.2% interest rate savings account unless I invest it or something lol.

Ya, that's pretty much more than a brand new one would cost.

I checked out mountain states before I went to Fort Collins and bought this exact truck you listed but in white. My MSRP was 39,808 as well. I went to Pedersen in fort Collins and they beat the price I was at 33,898 before TTL. There are lots of Tacoma’s in the Rocky Mountain area good deals in Boulder I found too at Larry Miller.

Not bad for the PNW, it was the best deal I could find without driving into another state or playing the nickle and dime game. At some point you just have to make a decision, at least that's what my wife told me :D

Went the USAA/Trucar route. DCSB 4WD in Cement, mud flaps, wheel locks. Pretax total of 32,243 off of 36,482 sticker. Didn’t feel like arguing price as USAA gave me .75% off the APR and I had to fight trade in value as it was. Koons Toyota Westminster, MD.
