I bought this truck with this knock off cbi high clearance rear bumper. As you can see, it is not sitting level. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to adjust and level out the bumper?

    Welcome!

Do you have a picture of the other side? Do they sit the same?

I would personally leave it since it sits tight against the frame and instead cut a bit higher. Lay a strip of masking tape parallel to the bumper, then remove the bumper and trim up to the bottom of the tape, then reinstall the bumper

I would rather keep the fender cuts straight because worst case, I can buy a new bumper. Do you think I could put a spacer on farthest forward bolt to kick it down?

The other side is the same and fender cuts are straight. I am not sure what is causing it to be angled.

*By same, I mean the bumper is leaning at the same angle on both sides

Loosen the two I circled, then add a washer or two between the frame and bumper mount on the third bolt. Might have to take something like a dremel tool to open up the side bolt holes a bit to get the bolts in.
You might get lucky, and have enough play in the bolt holes that everything will allow you to reposition the bumper

Get a step bit and englarge the front mounting holes so that you are able to adjust it down some

I would also recommend to look everything over really closely to make sure nothing is bending.

Which bolt are you referring to? Can you describe in a bit more detail?

If the left side is level and the right side is angled, the whole bumper has a twist in it. Either they backed into something real hard of they got ass ended. Unless it's a real flimsey bumper, no amount of adjusting is going to untwist it.

Oh, sorry, read "other side" and "straight". Never mind.

The bolt hole circled in yellow is going to be the one you're going to want to enlarge. If you think about it, if you take some material out of the bottom of that bolt hole, you should be able to free up some adjustment to move the front end of your bumper down. You will likely need to loosen the bolts in red to be able to adjust the bumper. I would loosen red bolts, remove yellow bolt, enlarge yellow bolt's hole, tighten down yellow once you have your bumper adjusted how you like, and then re-tighten the red bolts. Hope this helps some

    UPDATE

Three 1/2” stainless washers and a bit of finessing later, it looks alot better!

    What do you all think?
