GA Tacoma Owners BS Thread

Next time I head up to our range I’ll post it in the GA Weekly thread. I’m always up for an excuse to get out and plink some plates. Should be a fun time.

 

We've got a very busy next 6-8 weeks or so. End of July or early August would probably be best timing for me....though I know the temps creep up quite a bit by then.

 

If I were closer to you I'd be there anytime you'd have me!

 

You aren’t kidding about the heat. It does crazy things to a small .22 round across a couple hundred yards. Makes for a fun time though.

I’ll definitely keep everyone updated on a range date. I should have known there were a few shooters in the group.

 

You know I am down, and I will most def bring some of the larger cal stuff.
Been smacking my gong up in NC like no ones business with the SPR, SCARH and of course FALs. Just let me know a few days in advance.

I have met several people on this forum with some serious chops in both those categories. Wish more people rode dirt bikes in this group, so I could chase you down and roost you with a face full of dirt! Lol

 

I’ll try and give everyone a week or so notice. I’ve never shot a FAL, if you could make one of them appear at the range I’d greatly appreciate the opportunity to fire it. We’ve been meaning to get you up to the farm and throw down. Lots of good times to be had.

 

But to answer your question, No, there is nothing I own that is not cool.
I got rid of my xwife before I was even old enough to have one lol.

She asked me about Huck just a few days ago. I showed her the pic of him lounging in the back of the Taco. Let me know when your ready for her to paint them.

Actually just talked to Sean about getting a traverse trip started. He mentioned he was an avid shooter too. Sounds like a dedicated thread may be necessary to get this going. It’d be awesome to have more people come out and enjoy the shooting sports.

Lead time my be awhile. Finally got the shipping confirmation for this setup for my wife’s 4Runner. I swear I ordered forever ago. Damn things are going to arrive as I’m trying to sell and pack my house

 

Thanks for the input. Yeah, lead times on armor. Might as well order it, forget about it, then be surprised when it shows up.
I was really stoked with the way my Demello armor went down. Erick at State48Overland was on it. Kept me up to date on the regular, and had no bs. I recommend these dudes. I also heard thru the grapevine that they are acquiring another armor vendor as well, but it’s not my place to divulge that info, regarding who that is. I will let them spill dem beans.
