From what I’ve seen those trails are above 7k in elevation. I need to do more research to figure it out. This is considered high desert. Here’s some July temps. That’s greatness!

Also, I am going to be in Valley View tomorrow around 4 and then will be free after 5 or so.

Soooooo anyone have any suggestions on a good place to eat on that side of DFW or possibly want to do something on that side of DFW.

 

Valley View Mall area, near Addison? That mall is sketchy as fuck. Lots of crackheads. Bring a gun, preferably bring friends with guns.

Carmine’s is good pizza, complete angry owners of some European heritage.

Gloria’s up north is good, and Flying Saucer has good beers.

 

That far north just go toss some money around at Winstar maybe get lucky like @Matmo215

yeah that is about 1.5 hours away from me. But i have camped Lake Ray Roberts many a times! Been thinking about going camping there with the new trailer, but i kinda want to go to new places.

Trying to find a favorite camp site, both electrical and off grid.... I hear good things about Eisenhower State Park on Lake Texoma. Kinda want to check that place out. I also know of a secluded spot on the Texas side of Lake Texoma, but im unsure if i could get my trailer to that spot. The trail to it is VERY narrow.

As narrow as that motorcycle trail you led us down at Hidden Falls, lol? I'm reminded of that trip every time I wash the truck.
