Actually, today is national "my bucket's got a hole in it" day. I read it on the internet.

@boogie3478 did you end up ordering a 3800mAh battery yet? If not, I've got an extra one your more than welcome to. Figured I'd throw it out there since I'll be working in Herndon across from Dulles tomorrow.

    A thing or two...
Typically, those ratings are for a continuous load, so you can run a lot more current if you're running a shorter duty cycle application, like a winch. Also, the temperature rating of the insulation, ambient temperature, wire length, and whether it's a single wire run or a bundle can all effect the load rating of the cable.

While talking booze: Bear Chase Brewery on BlueRidge Mountain Road; has anyone been there? Drove the backway home yesterday from Leesburg and flew past it. Looked like a nice place.

Man you get frequent order status if he just throws in items!

Mine came in today as well:

Also found another crying Taco Truck while cutting through neighboor hoods this afternoon:

Good thing that Adam rocks! Thanks again for the pickup for the boys!

And another thanks to @2016Taco4Me for the spare tire; enjoy the eggs especially the fresh one from Dr. Pepper!

    Thanks for the reply.
So, when the winch starts under load it draws high amps and as it reaches operating speed the amps drop back to a load the wires can carry. If I remember back EMF also is involved with a dc motor but it was a long time ago.

Beer is decent but the views are what makes the trip worth it. Definitely a nice place, though.
