I am about to install my new set of Kings, What did you guys do with your E- Brake cable during your install? Looks like it will bind up during flexing..

    Thx

Uses convection cooling to lower the shock oil temperature. You’ll see a lot of these short fin reservoirs on their race trucks.

Ordered Deaver Expedition 2 and have Std length 2.5 OEM's w/adj for the rear coming tomorrow. Am I going to have problems w/top or bottom out? Will have up to 750-800lb when I go camping. Not a rock crawler or speed demon just "overlandy" stuff.

Bump stops would be a good investment to be safe. You will be tempted to do not "overlandy" stuff then you will be addicted

Hoping you guys can help me out...
So yesterday I installed my front suspension (KING 25001-119-600-EXT), everything went smooth and after the install I took it to get the alignment done.
My issue is that I now have a clunk noise coming from the passenger side. I can hear it at lower speeds on any imperfection on the road.
I only have about 9-7 threads showing up and I made sure that every bolt was torqued correctly.
Has anyone had this issue before?

Any help will be appreciate it.

Yeah try that first. Did you spray any dry lube on the uniball? That could be another factor. How many threads are you showing on your Kings?

My sway bar hits the King reservoir bracket on the passenger side. It's easy to tell since my brackets are powder coated black.

    Not much stock left.
I have the same clunk in the same situations. No idea why. I don't have it while off-road. Only in the city.

    Edit: And no sway bar.

I didn’t spray dry lube on the UCAs will do that today.
And I only have ~7 threads showing on the passenger side.

Mine are not hitting the reservoir bracket. However I did notice that the bracket has some play on the passenger side, I think the sound it’s coming from there. I will update if that takes care of the problem

Check that you have at least 3" of droop at the wheel.

One of the members of this forum found the problem to be that the shock were not charged properly.

the clunk is gone! It was the reservoir bracket, it was hitting the part of the inner fender that you have to bend in order to get the UCA’s bolt out. I forgot to bend it back in place .
I also had a washer from the stock UCAs bouncing on the skid plate :crapstorm:

Thought I’d post a quick follow up. 4K miles on the suspension with 1,000 off road. I feel like the suspension truly settled after 1K miles. The truck has a 2” total lift with 1-1/4” rake. EXT 650lbs up front/non extended adjustable in the rear.

Ride has completely changed the way I drive the truck. Much more responsive and sporty on road and much more compliant off road especially when any type of speed is induced.
