    Because it's like a drop-in replacement, and it's colder...

Though to be fair, some R134a systems are pretty fucking good. The A/C in my mom's 2004 Honda Odyssey was finger-numbingly cold. The A/C in my dad's 2002 BMW 3-series good, as was the A/C in his 1996 Nissan Pathfinder and his 2003 Honda S2000.

You know the car manufacturer with the best and coldest AC? Ford.

I've tried GM, Toyota, Nissan, Mercedes, BMW, Land Rover, and Audi... None have been colder than the AC in Ford vehicles.

Since this is supposed to be a thread about growing up with Aspergers Syndrome, here's a story...

This one time when I was in kindergarten (1994-1995 or so), the class was coloring. I was looking for a specific color of crayon (a dark color), so I started "testing" numerous crayons on the supply shelf. My teacher saw this and absolutely flipped out at me for coloring on something other than paper.

Try the AC in a Ford E series van. Those shits are cold. They're like "using a sweater inside with the AC even though the weather is 105 degrees outside.

My cousin's first car that she bought with her own money was a 1998 Audi Cabriolet, for about $7,500 cash. For all of it's shortcomings and reliability issues, that car had two things going for it...

    1. Finger-numbingly, nipple-hardeningly cold A/C!
    2. One hell of a sound system!

That's debatable. I drove two Ford cars today. An F-150 V8, and a Ford Expedition. You know what they both had in common? The cold ass AC. Oh, and the model years were 7 years apart.

    I’d imagine...

I drove it once on my learner’s permit, but only around the block. My cousin sold that thing long before I got license...
