My brother in law runs a tow yard and I got the leafs off a 99 Chevy 4x4 1500 he had that was wrecked in the front. All of the brackets and mounts I fabricated myself at home. But I think BAMF makes a kit to mount longer shocks. I'm currently collecting everything to go solid axle though so my rear suspension is pretty much ready for the 14 bolt axle I have built. Now I'm collecting everything for the front because I've wheeled the heck out of this truck and ifs just isn't cutting it anymore.

Cool thanks for the input! And one more thing, does wheeling with the sway bar off throw off the alignment? Have you had any problems with alignment after a hard day of wheeling? I took them off yesterday after work and did some wheeling, so far I love the ride on and off road.

I don't see the swaybar having anything to do with alignment issues after a day of hard wheeling. You're gonna knock it out of alignment with or without it if you're doing some rough trails.

anyone running 20x 10 with 35's? currently have 20x12 with a -44 and rub pretty bad after a cab mount chop. I'd like to avoid the body mount relocation kit. Options are to go to 33s which I would rather not do or 20x10 rims. My fear is that if I go to 20x10 that I'll still rub. Thanks guys.

White one is mine. The two others are pics I found on the forum on 33's with 6" and 20x12. Going down in tire size is a painful thought but may be the smarter move. If I knew 20x10 wouldn't rub that would be great but it would be extremely unfortunate to dish the money out to go 20x10 and they still rub. Rubbing on the cab mount which has already been chopped. thanks guys.

I posted this in the suspension section but was told I might have better luck here:
Being in the market for a set of King Coilovers, I found a good deal on a set and without thinking enough I bought them. Well it turns out they are for a Tacoma with a 5-6” lift with longer rods and cylinders.

Well, I don’t currently want to lift my truck this much. I contacted Filthy (those guys rock) and they basically said I would be better off selling them than “down-grading” them to work with my stockish setup.
They are a little beat up as far as cosmetics but appear to be overall sound. The springs are 600# 14in coils. They measure around 24.5” long.
Does anyone know what these should go for? Or any other advise? Still considering rebuilding them with rods and cylinders but the parts are pricey.

Man, those are outdated and worthless. I'll give you $50 just to get them out of you way

But honestly, they are still worth a good bit. I've seen them as low as $700 and as high as $1400 w/o the adjustable resi.

I bought them with a few other things so it’s not super clear and it takes two to get a deal. If they aren’t worth as much as I’d like, I can convert them.

It’s the pro comp skid plate, I think it’s one of the few that work with the drop bracket lift.

question about rear brake lines. going from the 2.5" blocks and AAL that come with a pro comp 6" to 4" blocks. Having a hard time finding info on if the stock lines will work with that much rear lift. Plan to go leaf packs in the future but this should hold me off for now. Thanks guys.

Keep an eye on the brake lines. Also double check your ABS lines. You may need to have them extended. But they should be able to accommodate another 1.5" Just need to cut some zip ties and re orientate the lines.
Are you looking for full articulation? Or is it mostly for looks?
