Perfect. Next question. Should I get U-joints with grease fittings or get sealed ones? Can someone chime in on pros and cons for going both routes?

This reminds me I need to grease my u-joints before I go wheeling tomorrow

I don't know if there are any advantages to going with sealed ones but I would stick with greaseable ones personally. Easy enough to do and peace of mind knowing they're greased I guess.

Thanks eon_blue. Has someone here done the CB drop? Is it worth it? I only have about 1.75 of lift.

I have a preference for grease-able ones, you can flush out any water/dust that may have gotten in with fresh grease, which is nice when my truck sees primarily dirt/mud/snow

I had a CB spacer in, was just a couple of 1/2" metal plates that push it down a bit. I ended up removing it, I think the general consensus is that it's better to fix your angles with axle shims as opposed to CB drop spacers.

I took mine out because not long after that I started noticing gear oil slowly seeping out of my pinion seal, dunno if it was the culprit but I removed it anyway.

But if you aren't getting any weird driveline vibes then I wouldn't worry about it.

I have one dropped, seems fine.

@eon_blue took his spacers out though.

So I got my 13WL calipers from Napa. What’s the likelihood they’ll notice if I bring my Taco calipers back as cores in a couple days?

yeah it was weird, when I removed the CB spacers it immediately fixed that loud PING from the driveshaft I was getting...for about 2 weeks. Then it came back with a vengeance. Not sure what that's about but I think it just means I need to grease the slip yoke by hand, just been too lazy to do it.

I suppose there's more than one way to define a wear item, yes
