J/K, I went to one of the larger yards in my area and only found one set. Potentially one more, but the hood was stuck. It would be hard to live off selling one or two sets at a time.

There were a few of the A/F sets there, but I left them be.

You’re lucky you found them in a Fleetwood. The newer Buick’s I find them in have reservoirs, vacuum pumps, ECU’s, and emissions equipment in the way. Those old Cadillacs are probably the easiest to get them from.

 

All I needed was a 13mm and 10mm socket. Wish I had a deep well, or extension though.

 

They don’t give a crap. I returned a 1994 Grand Cherokee power steering pump for a 2002 Mercedes C230 power steering pump.

As long as it looks like a car part that’s in the same realm of function, they will take anything. Most auto parts workers are oblivious.

My business model would fail outside California because there aren’t many other states with the sheer amount of people and cars that there is here. The cars rotate every month or two and are replaced with fresh ones.

 

you could hire a bunch of methies to drive the 5 lug around the Southwest and mail you horns

 

I’d use deep 10mm for the reservoir, and that weird double sided bolt. 13mm are all that hold the horns into the fender.
