I’ve come a long way with those harnesses. This is my current revision, v4. I sleeve all the wires on the main harness with plastic braiding, install Metri-Pack 530 fuse holders, Delphi 150 horn connectors, and 100% Stranded Copper GXL Automotive Wire rated for oil and gas immersion.

 

Ok sounds good. Ill just build my own harness, but thanks for the offer. Would putting a ring terminal on the mounting bolt of the horns make a good ground, if I run the wire to my usual chassis ground spot?

The stock horns only have one 12v wire going to them right? Pretty hard to mess up I take it?

 

It’s tempting. Be cool to mess around with. And not terribly expensive to start up. I just don’t know how big of a market for anodizing small aluminum objects is

 

It’s pretty hard to mess it up. As long as you’re mounting to a good and grounded metal surface you should be fine.

Make sure you test them before you mount them, the ‘C’ Horn likes to die often.

My frame has the crc coating on it so utilizing a non-coated body panel bolt is fail safe, for me anyways.

Anodizing is no where near as dangerous as Parkerizing. I say go for it.

 

I never heard of it either. I just went there, saw notcrow's sn, then it led me to a F TW thread. Wow.

 

I mean it seems simple from the videos. I just dont wanna drop $$$ for a setup and do like 5 parts and be left with all this stuff and no use for it

 

I LOVE that your add-ons (wiring, connectors, etc) are good quality stuff. I won't be surprised at all when your business grows(it'll grow as much as you want it to) and becomes a sweet small biz. I'm excited for ya man
