Interesting read. I did an X2 (Northstar) group 31 in the standard spot with CBI’s Mount.
Bam. No hassle and more off grid time. And no lean for the extra couple pounds like others have mentioned above

Thank you for the input sir. That was my first choice, but the batteries plus guys near me were going out of business. I would have to wait until I had a trip to Corpus or San Antonio to get a hold of one.

You'll want to pay close attention to the routing of the power to the starter, and fuse block, going up at least one wire awg size, and estalishing a good grounding location on the passenger body.

Thats a very good point.. It'll be a decent bit further from the battery to the starter. And the stock lead to the battery is already quite thicc, with two C's
