Good to know. I'm debating a convenience modification that would require Techstream...

Because his son is a fuckup. Hes fired him 20 times and he just keeps coming back. He just cant make him stay away. If he wasnt still married to his sons mother he would be gone....thats how.

After he bitched about his son being a fuck up for 20 minutes (which i walked him around the van when i dropped it off, not his son) he said "I tell you what, lets strike a deal".

I said " the whole thing needs to be redone, I don't want to strike a deal. I want it done right. Theres more work now than when i dropped it off"

He said "just take the key and leave then".

    And thats what I did.

Edit: when i walked him around the van during the estimate i told him their was a clear bra and if he was blending onto the hood i would have it removed. He said they werent going on the hood.

Edit edit: he did say he couldn't figure out why it was so hard to sand.

Wow. I would recommend a shop up here, but I doubt you want to spend that kind of money on it.

Whoops. Thought you were in the sticks for some reason. The one body shop I will recommend is called D&V Autobody. They're in Sterling and they do amazing work. Last time I was there was with my Mustang that had around $20k worth of damage. Came out looking better than factory. I had an appraiser look at it for value loss and he agreed that they're the best body shop in NOVA.

The Mustang had extensive modifications on it. I called one day to help him source parts and he had already ordered them. The car also had air bags on it and they fixed a few leaks I could never track down. That's really good service in my book.

Ah yes i know d&v and one of the owners, kevin quite well. They're across the street from our shop. They really screwed me over once and i swore i would never go back their. I did see kevin at a car show recently and he did ask i give them a try again now that they've opened a second shop and aren't as swamped. Maybe because i quit sending our work fleet their too - tough to say.

For years they did the best work in the area and probably still do. Im just one bitter s.o.b.

I don't blame you. They did open another shop that caters solely to the six digit priced cars. They did take a while on my car, but I'm not sure it was their fault. I went to them because alot of folks that are really OCD about their cars recommended them. I'll go back till they piss me off.
